Id just rather send Quinn packing. Teach Parsons some tough Love. Dont get attached to nobody...because...thats Alpha.

It would make Parsons a better player.

MY FACTUAL OPINION.

This is why Floatyworm's suggestion to trade Parsons makes perfect sense!!

I don’t want Quinn to become HC for one specific reason……..Kellen would have FULL control of the offense

Will the NFC be as bad next season? Probably not. This is a fantastic opportunity to reach the Superbowl in spite of having Prescott at QB because the chances are the Cowboys will only have to beat one good team to get there and the D might get it done. Quinn will surely be a Head Coach next season after what he has done with this D.

Yep Swag, Good post.
Haze already did the thread talking about its too early to tell and compared previous years. But I'm with you because it's such a down year for the NFC I've never seen more beatable opponents in the path to get to the SB.

Quinn and his defense will be the biggest selling point around regarding HC positions to be filled next year and they should really go all in this year whatever the cost.

I'll bet the NFC won't be as bad next year either so grab the opportunity while it's there.

Why do you think he interviewed for those head coaching positions? It was to drive the price with Jerry up. He is not going anywhere, he has a sweet gig here and knows Jerry will even give him more next year!!

How do we know he leaves? Last year no one thought he would be back for 2022.

He has one of the most talented defensive units in the league, and jerry willing to write blank checks.

Maybe he really wants to be a HC again, but who knows for sure?

I was thinking the same thing. Sure, it may be nice to get another head coaching gig, but he’s got a pretty nice deal in Dallas already.

He’s got a young, loaded defense, full of players he hand-picked. No matter where he goes, he’s not going to find a more favorable situation.

If the money is remotely close, he needs to ask himself:

Is it a better situation to remain coordinator of one of the best defenses in the league and be safe and revered for at least the next several years if not longer, potentially winning a Championship?

Or is it better to get another head coaching job and potentially win a Super Bowl this time, or be fired and looking for work in two or three years?

The grass isn’t always greener.

DQ will stay until we win a SB. He knows we are close. Then he can maximize that SB win on his resume to even a bigger HC contract.

He also knows if MM leaves by choice or Jerry's choice he is next in line. Even with the next HC in training being the OC.
yes this is how I see it, just depends on a lot of factors, I dont see quinn leaving if jerry is willing to pay him good.

We probably have 2 months left with the guy who Parsons called a "father figure" the other day. I don't envy Quinn's replacement because the current locker room seems deeply connected to him on a personal level. I hope Jerry Jones realizes the urgency of the moment. The guy who hired Rob Ryan, Monte Kiffin, Rod Marinelli, and Mike Nolan finally struck gold on a DC hire. I don't care about the future, we have to go all in on winning now before this man leaves.

Everyone, old boy, seems sold on Quinn. And for good reason. His D has gone from worst to good, except against the run.

But there is a cult building around him, a cult that says if we don't keep Quinn he will walk. We need to reward Quinn, double his salary and make him asst. HC. We need to do what Micah tells us to do, and that is to keep him here at all costs.

The man seems to know his business, yeah, but there are 100 other coaches out there (not 500 as Jerry would say) who can do an equally credible job. Analytics will tell you tha.
So love the man but put away the palms as he rides into town with constant hints by him as to how ready he is to bolt.

Hope Jerry does move to keep Quinn here, but all things in moderation, chaps. Don't be hopeless homers. Quinn, like Richard some years ago is the latest rage and it seems somehow hip to say how great Quinn is for now. But let us see what his vaunted D will do the rest of the season.

Steady as she goes, boatswains. Rudder east at 20 knotts easy on the port steerage.

Well we have a pretty damn good team who has won games because of Prescott and can still can reach the Superbowl because of Prescott's contributions to go along with this great defense and pretty good special teams.

Hopefully we can reach a Superbowl in spite of having the dumbest offensive coordinator in the league.... Kellen Moore.

Denver could be firing Hackett if they lose this weekend. That’s the job he wanted.
When he thought he had a franchise QB....it is safe to say Russ needs an offensive minded HC not DQ. Denver is a mess, I don't see him going theer. SD maybe, their HC will not make the year

It's a dumpster fire now with that albatross contract of Wilson.

No Jerry needs to sin Quinn to a head coaching salary + 50% more. When it comes to paying coaches, money should not be an issue.

Do you think, bland brand, Dak though being more of a bus driver he could grow a spare and stand up to KM?
Just maybe we could give Fat Mac and Dak spurts of play calling?
What's wrong with tha, I'd like to know, cause here I go ... again.

The chargers will likely lose this week and that may do it for Staley
They are a attractive team.
I'll take Quinn over the Mike and Philbin show any day. If Quinn leaves, we don't make the playoffs.
