Again, you're not setting the bar really high.

Tyrod Taylor is better than anybody we can put out there. Thinking that he's a future superstar is another thing.

YR

Where has anyone ever said the guy is a 'superstar'?

It looks like it is you who are setting that bar too high.

The only thing we're saying is that the guy is playing well and is better than anyone we currently have.

The Commanders' patience and faith in Cousins looks to be paying off. After the RG III debacle, they look to have found their QB for the future.

thats their genius of drafting RG3 AND Cousins in the same draft as an insurance policy. RG3 could fail and they still had a plan.

pretty smart if you think about it.

Lol okay stash whatever you say.

We'll just see when the two teams play, won't we?

I've already read more than enough of how this team is 'better' than they've shown to be or how every opponent and opposing player 'isn't that good'.

You would think that when it blows up in people's faces that many times, they would stop saying it.

I hope they win the division, they have become such a joke i feel bad for them. They will get demolished in the first playoff game anyway.

Ya it doesn't matter who won the division this year. No team has a shot at winning the superbowl. Nfce is really weak.

No. At this point we need to lose out and build for next year. Every win the rest of the season is counterproductive.

I wasn't referring to actual, on the field wins, but these moral victories some are now reaching for.

I don't think we need to worry about too many on the field wins at this point. Whether they try to tank or not, those will be few and far between the rest of this season I think.

I personally wouldn't consider any aspect of the RG3 deal to have been "smart". That has to go down as one of the worst in NFL history.

I didnt say the deal was smart. But hedging their bet on RG3 with cousins was VERY smart.

Hail To The Commanders!

Hail Victory!

Praise On The Warpath!

Fight!

For Ole DC!

I said they would be better with Cousins.
Gruden a good coach.

But let's not get it twisted.
The skins are another turd in the toilet bowl that is the nfc east.

If Cowboys had their stuff together like last year... You guys would be calling for gruden and cousins head.

To be honest, they deserve it.

More than any other team in the east.

Cool glad he's your starter for the future lol.. First time starter??. Didn't he start last year " unquestioned "? Isn't this his 4th year? He's garbage Man. Sorry , he's just lucky cromartie dropped that int that should have been taken to the house. The guy still makes dumb throws. Nothing has changed. He's a future backup. But as I said we all hope gruden and cousins stats around next year.

This is your third or fourth time mentioning the only bad pass he threw yesterday as your justification that he's garbage. Hyperbole much?

In his last 5 games, he is averaging a 72% comp. rate, for 10 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Unlike last season, where he would go into a shell after throwing a pick, he's been coming back on the next drive and performing even better. No one is saying he is the next elite QB, but the Skins could do much worse going forward. I would still prefer we signed or drafted another QB to backup him and see if he continues to improve in 2016.

Im pulling for the Skins since they're the least likely to make any noise in the playoffs

The throw he made in that game he's been doing through out his entire career.. Cousin's is not a starter. You guys are using him like we were using weeden, I understand all qbs checkdowns. But cousins completion% is deceiving.

They're gonna kill us most likely.

Which is the second most awful loss in a season, behind only any loss to the Eagles.

Good - maybe they'll sweep us so we can continue the march to high draft picks.

The only thing we're saying is that the guy is playing well and is better than anyone we currently have.

He is playing in a gimmicked out offense geared towards him and his specific skill set. Many of his throws are scripted/schemed or improvised.

Put him in Dallas with this offense and he is throwing dump offs and checkdowns in no time.

I don't think you understand them as much you think you do. First off unless you're looking at the All-22, or at the actual games, you can't tell if he's checking down because he's missing receivers or if there is really no one open. Once the receivers and tight ends run out of your tv screen, you don't know what was there unless there is a replay. And there is no replay on every play. You also don't know what the play called for. I read a blog that goes over his All-22 after every game, he's mostly checking down when WRs aren't open. He's rarely missing open WRs. Other times he is checking down to avoid a pass rusher. And this was the case last season, but Kirk would frequently get fooled by pre-snap disguised coverages and he needed to slow down his reads. He didn't do that last season and the turnovers mounted. This season he started out that way and then he began improving. His biggest weakness right now isn't turning the ball over, it's going off-script when a play is broken.

Yes, he occasionally will throw a bad pass. Eli threw a ton of bad passes yesterday and not only is he a starter, he is a two-time superbowl champion. Against New England, I watched Brady throw an awful pass directly to Perry Riley. All QBs throw bad passes, it's just the better ones learn from their mistakes and limit the amount of times it happens. Saying "he's been doing it through out his career" is debunked by the actual facts I provided.
