I agree ...our run scheme really really sucks. Not sure if it's dated, or we suck...or what. I think it's most we don't value it. We are forcing our Dak passing game to win.

It's why I advise caution on curb stomping zeke's face. I really don't think it's all him. Tony is fresher, more nimble, no doubt...but even he spends too much time and energy bouncing outside when he should be chewing yards UP the field.

We need PUSH up the field, HOLES. We aren't going anywhere until we fix it.

I think getting rid of Zeke who has defintley lost a step. and taking that money and investing it in Pollard and OL and draft another RB with a little more speed.

Asking a QB making 40M to put up 20 points should not be a big ask. Defense kept this game from getting out of hand.

Have to ask receivers to catch. Oline to Block and coaches to call the right plays.

It sounds good to answer yes we'd win. It feels good to say yes we'd win. Trouble is it just isn't true, IMHO. I'm no expert like most of you guys but:
1. The O line looked suspect a lot of the year. Granted there were multiple injuries, still they were not up to par from just a few years ago.
2. Wide receivers drops hurt not to mention the times when juggled balls were intercepted.
3. We struggled again stopping the run.
4. Stupid penalties which to me speak to ineffectual coaching and immaturity.
5. They didn't seem very hungry to me nor did they appear to be very tough. (SF looked tougher than us)

Those are my views and as I said, I'm no expert.

The 49ers are a good good defense. If you force the ball they are going to burn you. The key to beating them would have been no different than we saw yesterday with the Eagles just take what they give you. What hurt us was losing Tony. That was a game changer. The 49ers can take the pass away, but they couldn't take the pass, and run away as we saw yesterday.

Yes. Jerry should restructure Dak's contract and have him stay with the team for at least another 3 or 4 years. All kidding asides, this is exactly what is going to happen.
