not to re-live the game anymore, and not to say that we lack heart blah blah blah

but remember when Tom Coughlin made up that Jerry had bought Super Bowl tickets, to motivate the Giants in the '07 divisional game against us?

and what was Jerry Jones' motivation for Sunday night?

"hai guys, look how much I paid!"

idk, I thought it was an interesting distinction

it's not the owners job to motivate the team, it's the coaches.

Comparison doesn't work.

Jerry was selling the stadium, nothing more, it has nothing to do with the team.

the difference between us and the top teams in this league is we still make too many stupid mistakes.

Worse, we have players who play "smaller" the "bigger" the game gets. Bottom line, this team does not know how to "finish" and that's because they're mentally weak.

In his post-game presser, Tom Couchlin talked about how the Giants emphasize "winning the 4th quarter" because that's the key to winning in the NFL. He siad how it was good that his Giants dod win the 4th quarter by scroing more points than Dallas and that this was the key to their win.

When have you ever heard a coach in Dallas specifcally talk about winning the 4th quarter? Heck, when have you heard a Cowboy player be minful of that? Winning the 4th quarter is about winning. Great players, like those on other teams, think that way. Small players, like these Cowboys, think about relaxing in Cabo.

THAT is the difference between us and the top teams in this league.

Giants owner sits back, counts his money, and lets football operations do their job. Giants owner knows his limitations. Thats the difference.

I totally agree. just look at Scandrick. he got his shot last night to maybe win the starting cb position. then he goes out he plays probably the worst game he's ever played against a 2nd year wr.

Yep. That is the #1 problem.

Not coaching, not a locker room being split, not leadership, not accountability, not TO, and not Ed Werder.

Stupid mistakes by the players is what hurts this team.

The Giants played not to lose the other night and it worked perfectly for them because we eventually gave them the game.

That was just a rumor which was later proven false.

Congrats on your post.

Stupid mistakes by players and coaches.

When we're up and we have the ball driving down field and we're able to run it down their throats and they're still playing their safeties well off the ball, not stacking the line, please don't call a post route for your 4th receiver.

And if Jerry did that, the NFL wouldn't be where it is today. That's just how it is with him. You have to take the good w/ the bad.

Or see him jumping the teams *** after the debacle in St Louis.

Jerry's pulling the strings and he loves every second of it.
