Giants did not make plays to get those turnovers, they were handed to them. I have no problem giving credit to any team when they make great plays but it was not as if they were jumping routs these balls were thrown right to them hell the TD the CB did not have to move nor on the long ball the other int the CB looked shocked when the ball bounced right into his hands.

In the mean time NY could not stop Dallas from running and in the redzone Dallas was 4 of 4 mean while NY was 0 for 5 in the redzone.
Now had the shoe been on the other foot I have no doubts that our daily critics around here would have blasted the Cowboys and the coaching staff. Hell the Giants OC Gilbride had 5 fricken shot in the redzone and could not get it in? Gosh what a moron he is or he needs to be more creative he is so predictable.

That is the crap thown at Dallas win or lose by our daily critics but when it is someone else well they are great they over came what a great team they are. Use the same glasses when viewing others as you do the Cowboys sometimes

Who cares how they got them, they got them.

Dallas can't make or luck into a single turnover and the Giants were "handed" 4?

Please.

If you don't want to give the Giants credit for making those plays, then you better slam the hell out of Dallas for "giving" them out.

On that INT for a TD there was a lot more than that CB just sitting there. The Giants D audibled and put themselves into perfect position. Tell me how they deserve no credit for for that? I hate Pierce but he made a great call right there and their entire team responded to it, made the adjustment and were ready to go before the snap.

There is a difference between the two teams and unfortunately it goes a lot deeper than luck.

I always do use the same glasses.

The cowboys will get portrayed in a negative light at all times, I am usually one of the people that will defend them.

You can say the giants had the ball thrown to them all you want, THe other side of that is that they were so well prepared they seemingly knew what was coming from the passing game all day. As laufenberg said they were running the routes for our wr.

and I would be willing to bet next time we play them we dont run for 251.

I Give the Giants credit for a lot of things in that game but sorry Turnovers that went directly to them? Well at least they did not drop them. On the TD int no there wasn't much from the CB on that play he was sitting right there and did not have to move as the ball came right to him. I will give you that Pierce made an adjustment before the play but the CB did not have to make some big league play the ball was thrown right to him all he had to do was not drop it.

I'm not so certain about that. Obviously this is all speculative, but I think if you replay Sunday's game 10 times, we'd likely win 6 to 8 of them. I just don't think we consistently have the back luck and huge mistakes again and again like we did in that game.

In other words, if we lined up tomorrow against them, I'm not certain I wouldn't feel very confident about winning that game.

If we have that kind of bad luck again we are cursed for sure.

I hope the team uses this as motivation next time we play them but I just dont see as a team that is as good as they are right now.

Even if you give the Giants 100% of the credit for that turnover the other 3 were definetely Dallas just giving it to them.

It was a joke.

The ball behind Witten that bounced off his foot and into the hands of the Phillips who was a good 3 to 5 yards behind him was not a great play the ball landed in his hands off the foot of Witten. That is not running the routs for our WR. Romo throwing down field as the Safety is standing their waiting for it to come down was not a great play it was a big mistake since the ball should not have been thrown and Romo firing well above the head of RW to a Giant defender standing there was nothing more than a poorly thrown pass. As I said I don't have any problems tipping my hat to another team for making plays but these passes where not well throw what so ever there was not big move on the defenders part to make the play.

This still leaves the fact the Giants went 0-5 in the redzone had garretts offense did that many around here would have been hollering and screaming their heads off yet we went 4-4 in the redzone no mention yet Garrett still sucks? Please if Garrett play calling is that damn bad what the hell was that the Giants offense doing in the redzone?

Ummm, at what point does the other team get credit for being better prepared, both mentally & physically?

Reading this post you'd think the Cowboys had no shot whatsoever, because the football Gods all were aligned with NY.
In other words, the Giants victory was fate & luck at the very least, or a lack of Cowboys execution at the very best.

How about: THE GIANTS WERE THE BETTER TEAM & PLAYED A BETTER GAME?

Sheesh.:banghead:

Giants were the better team in the game I did not say that what I said is the TO were handed to them. It does not take much skill holding on to a ball thrown directly at you or a ball bouncing off the heal of a player right into your hands. I give credit to Eli for his play and that of the WR of the Giants who went out ran some good routs and made some big catches. I give credit to the Giants front line for protecting Eli as they did.

Having said that yes the Giants have problems 0-5 in the redzone having to settle for FG instead of TD. Had Dallas did that do you not think Garrett would be lit up by fans hollering how predictable he was?

Dallas beat Tampa but they ran the ball like crazy on us just as we did the Giants yet our defense just sucked and the claims of we are unable to stop the run was being hollered.

All I ask is look at the other teams the same as you do Dallas and you just may find they too have problems they are trying to overcome. Giants got 4 turnovers and won by 2 points our fans would be screaming bloody murder

Lastly at no point did I say luck, those ints were extreamly poor passes not even close

I never have a problem giving credit where it is due. For anyone to think there are not some concerning issues with the Giants all you have to do is judge them the same as you judge your own team.

G-men though are 2-0 and I'm sure they are looking at ways to correct the problem in the redzone and taking another look at their own run defense and how easy Dallas moved the ball on them to take the lead.

Dallas is 1-1 we too have problems and issues to over come

not to re-live the game anymore, and not to say that we lack heart blah blah blah

but remember when Tom Coughlin made up that Jerry had bought Super Bowl tickets, to motivate the Giants in the '07 divisional game against us?

and what was Jerry Jones' motivation for Sunday night?

"hai guys, look how much I paid!"

idk, I thought it was an interesting distinction

NFC Championship Game tickets and it was not a rumor

A yes it was, it was completely bogus. Rick gosselin wrote about it in his season preview last year.

It was a total ploy from coughlin to motivate his team. And it makes sense seeing that strahan has said repeatedly the only team they feared and thought they couldnt beat was Dallas.
