Here's the fallout of Zeke's suspension moving forward in my opinion....

1. If Zeke does anything else, he's gets a full year suspension now. (He has six weeks coming all by himself to his own devices, so yikes.)

2. As I understand it from local reporters, the guaranteed money in Zeke's contract is no longer guaranteed. This is actually GREAT for Dallas if #1 happens.

3. I think this may doom Goodell from an extension. There will be a massive showdown between Jerry's gang and Mara's gang.

4. If Jerry wins, look for a lawsuit from Goodell.

5. Dak Prescott must now be the focus of the offense. Not sure he's ready for that, but we'll know in six weeks.

6. The Cowboys' 2017 season is, for all intents and purposes, over. Time to start thinking free agency and draft. (EDIT: The Cowboys are certainly in the wild card hunt, but the NFC East is lost.)

Until we see how #5 plays out, let's hold off on the draft stuff. It's 6 months from now. I think we can wait.

We'll certainly know a LOT more about Dak in six weeks. These are some legitimate defenses coming up. He looked poor Sunday, but that was largely the weather.

Chiefs, Falcons, Eagles, Chargers, Commanders, and Giants. That's a pretty salty lot defensively.

We will find out more about Dak for sure, but we will be OK is if we can still run the ball. Is our OL that good now? We will learn that answer as well.

Guy who says Dallas can't beat SF now proclaims season over....k

also same guy rips off his fellow fans when he scalps tickets.

same guy calls players morons who would work at mcdonalds if not for the nfl as if there are not brilliant young men playing this game.

so basically I think nothing is over and look forward to being counted and called an underdog.

which group has the good defense? The eagles and the giants when healthy except the giants are not healthy.

the chiefs have the worst defense we will have played so far this year.

#7 - Some Cowboy's Fans take the fateful leap

We are going to find out about Dak. I think we will see exactly what we have been seeing but a bit more yardage. He's going to be inconsistent from throw to throw, game to game. He's going to win a few and look bad at times.

I wasn't confident coming into this season - 9-7 was my call - because of the youth on defense and the schedule. I'm obviously not any more confident now, probably less.

But man, draft talk...ugh, not yet please.

Let’s just see what happens. I honestly think Dallas comes out of the next 6 weeks no worse than (3-3). Let’s just see where we are then before giving up on season and preparing for the draft. Sure, we’re hoping for a wildcard at this point, but rather shoot for that than write off the season.

All this doom and gloom. I will give everyone a little history lesson. In 1980 a bunch of college kids from the US beat the most powerful hockey team (Russia) ever and went on to win the gold medal. Two weeks before the Russian team dismantle the same US team at Madison Sq. Garden 10-3 and also destroyed the NHL All-star team. So anything can happen. As Yogi Berra would say "It ain't over until it's over."

Thank you!! I've been screaming from the rooftops, the Chiefs have the 28th ranked rush defense in the league. We'll be able to run on them with this offensive line. It's more a question of whether our defense can hold back their passing attack. They have committed the fewest turnovers in the NFL. Basically, whether or not we win has nothing to do with Zeke being on the field.

Any wagers that Andy Reid starts the game with an onside kick?

they dont tackle well and they have two guys on the same side seemingly disinterested in playing the run in ford and peters.

If Dallas can keep the game within a score in the fourth quarter they should be okay. The chiefs have to be really difficult to prepare for offensively but not defensively.
