The Draft is bugging me

Where we pick there is really only 1 guy I want and that is CB Aaron Ross.....

Some of the other guys I want are valued in the 2nd or 3rd round, but we only have 1 pick in each round. I really wish we had three 2nds and three 3rds.....then we could definitely go after the guys I want....

FB Brian Leonard (2nd round value)
RB Chris Henry (4th round value, but could be picked in the late 3rd or by a team with comp picks)
OG Josh Beekman (2nd round value)
OG Manny Ramirez (3rd round value)
OLB Brian Robison (late 2nd - early 3rd round value)
ILB Zak DeOssie (3rd round value)
CB Tarell Brown (3rd round value)
CB Courtney Brown (probably 4-5 round value, but his stock is rising fast and some team could jump on him in the 3rd)​

So if i was picking I would go

Gonzalez is about the 9th or 10th (or maybe even 11/12) rated WR in this draft. Why do you "only want" him?

Aaron Ross got beat like a non-tax exempt red-headed step-child last year. He was one of the leading causes of Texas' terrible pass defense, and looked especially poor in their bowl game against Iowa, giving up two TDs.

I just don't see it. He's talented, but didnt really play that well. I can't for the life of me see how the #1 corner on the 107th pass defense in the nation can win an award for best DB.

I've seen him up as high as 7th. I like Gonzo. A true #2 guy. But you need a #1 guy for him to be effective. OSU played him as the possession WR, but IMO he does have the speed to take it deep as well. Ginn was the one mostly on the fly patterns though. I would not mind Gonzo in the second if The 'Boys don't draft a WR in the first round. But then again, I am an admitted Buckeye homer.

Im not a big fan of Ross either. I actually think that the other Texas CB, Tarell Brown, you have listed will be a better pro.

Out of all the guys you listed, I find CB Courtney Brown (6-2 200) form Cal-Poly the most interesting prospect. This guy put up some outstanding numbers at his Pro Day. I'd definitely take a chance on him, because I think he's got major upside at CB or FS. I hope the Cowboys will schedule a private workout with him.

i really hope we trade down it seems like were targetting CB and WR the positions this draft is the deepest in... i'd like to see us trade our 1st to the bucs for their 2nd rounder(3rd pick in the 2nd) and the 2nd rounder they got from the colts(last pick in the 2nd)... then with 3 2nd rounders i would hope our draft goes something like this

2a.merriweather or the best available CB.. ross and hughes might still be around
2b.best available WR.. should be between craig davis,steve smith, jason hill but hoping sidney rice slips but i doubt it..
2c.manny ramirez
3.best available QB hopefully drew stanton
4.paul soliai
5.zac deossie

6th and 7th is a bit too hard to determine but if we could get these guys that would be a great draft
