The dream is officially over. Yeah yeah...pile it on..... Adrian Peterson just restructured the final three years of his deal with the vikings....I moved on a while ago but man it was nice to dream about.

The Vikings and Adrian Peterson have agreed to restructure the final three years of his contract.

Early in the offseason, Peterson made it seem like he was upset with the Vikings for turning their back on him during the child abuse scandal. In reality, he wanted more guaranteed money over the next two years of his contract. Although details aren't out yet, this restructure almost certainly accomplishes that. His base salary numbers over the next three years will come down, but his guarantees will go up. Peterson, who turned 30 in March, will be with the Vikings for at least two more years.
