Hoov, that's a practical approach. But I'm hearing you commit to field goals as a primary scoring mechanism. Depending on the Eagles approach to that offensive strategy, if our defense is clicking like it has been in the last several games, your concentration should rely more on conversion versus punting.
Now that's strictly using your scenario. I do believe KeShawn will show up in bug game situations (NFC-East rivalry are always considered "big games"). While Sheldon Brown and Sheppard are both reliable in the flat, Michael Lewis and Dawkins will limit Mr. K. Johnson will limit attempts underneath and screens. That doesn't mean that KeShawn will not get his yards -- he will, but only if pressure is not applied to Bledsoe -- and if I know Jimmy Johnson (Eagles defensive coordinator), you can count on pressure in one form or another.
Could JJ be an x-factor ...maybe, but his last couple of games haven't been very potent. Stopping KC Chief's Preist was tough in the first half of our game against KC, but we figured it out. I don't think JJ has the experience of a priest.
If you win, it will be because of the brilliance of your offensive/schemes to shut down the Eagle machine On both sides of the ball. Trust me, you'll have your hands full -- but then so we will.
Good Hunting.
