The Eagles losing in the Super Bowl does not prove that they have a poor process in place

Yeah it’s obvious. The Eagles have made it to two different Super Bowls with vastly different rosters in the span of 5 years winning one. Yes, it is definitive proof that Philadelphia’s front office is doing it more right than the Cowboys’. The Cowboys are trying to make it to the final four once in the past 27 years-the Eagles have done it 7 times already.

No need to wait-the evidence speaks for itself. You can be a Cowboys fan and admit the obvious.
Just do the last 2 years and next year and see how it looks.

We as Cowboy’s fans hope for regression. They built a great offensive line and solid defensive line and came close to winning the SB. Fortune favors the risk takers.

Conference championship game appearances (especially repeated trips) eventually end up resulting in a Super Bowl appearance. Cowboy’s fans in general would be more excited and interested had the team actually made it to the final game or even the final four.

The thread was about which team’s front office is doing it more correctly. The results speak for themselves. The case is won-and has been for quite some time.

As do most teams.

This was the same refrain from some Cowboys fans after the Eagles won in 2017.
Just an observation, no need to connect dots that aren't there. But they were 9-7, 9-7, 4-11 and 9-8 after 2017 lol.

You guys can swallow the Eagles backwash if you like.
As for me and my house we will absolutely not be doing so.

Other than pure dumb luck of finding an owner in Indy who uses too many drugs none of this happens for them.

Dallas has not gotten it done but last 5 seasons but you guys are largely goofballs who just cry too much.

Dallas last 5 seasons
3 10+ win seasons, 2 Division titles, 2 playoff wins

12-5 1-1 2nd
12-5 0-1 1st
6-10 0-0 3rd
8-8 0-0 2nd
10-6 1-1 1st

Philly last 5 seasons
2 10+ win season, 2 Division titles, 3 playoff wins

14-3 2-1 1st
9-8 0-1 2nd
4-11-1 0-0 4th
9-7 0-1 1st
9-7 1-1 2nd

Lol, or the last three seconds. What has Philadelphia won in the last 3 seconds that the Cowboys have not?!?!
They are pretty even over the last 2 years. Should be interesting again next year.

If they were so even, then I would see the Cowboys making it to the title game in the past 2 seasons. Take the loss and move on to next season.

The Cowboy’s would need to rattle off like 5 NFCCG in a row and 2 SB appearances (winning one) for this to be much of an argument. It’s just nonsense.

The Cowboys split with the Eagles this season and gave them a good fight all season long. If the Cowboys win the Super Bowl next year it blows your nonsense out of the water.

No one loves the Eagles by saying their front office is doing things more correctly than the Cowboy’s. Just take the loss guys. The point was won (AGAIN) yesterday by their mere presence in the SB. Regular season records do not prove that a squad is a contender (that’s what the playoffs are for) or how successful most fans view an overall season.

I guess 1 touchdown does.

It sure is convenient for you to leave off the 2 Super Bowl appearances and 1 Super Bowl Championship for the Eagles in your "stats".

Folks......there's no agenda to see here. Move along!

If the Cowboys ever win the SB again you will say that. It could be 57 years in the future and you would still say the same (even if the Eagles won 10 more in the same timeframe).

I get it. Some of you are team optimistic to the point of disregarding hard evidence that Philadelphia has a better front office (by far).

The Eagles had a quality season but it did not end with a SB win.
They beat a SF team without a QB, any QB.
After beating a .500 type Giants team. No one has EVER made a Super Bowl that easily.
They pushed it all in with restructures and trades and busted out when it counts.

The Eagles won 10+ games 1 time in the last 5 years. This isn't a model anyone should follow.

That Super Bowl is over. They lost.
If they want to prove the process is good then come back and build a winner like KC has.
Thats the winning process we should be talking about.

But instead they have a QB that needs 45M+ per year and 7 other guys all due double digit yearly pay rates(according to spotrac market values).

What you are posting about is the past. It is over.
In the right now they are staring at serious cap debt and a very nasty reality in roster building.

They had 1 SB in the 5 last years but good try lil goofy.

Guess 6 years is some standard we should all adhere to?
In case you didn't notice I left out the Cowboys 5 Super Bowl wins too.

Literally 5 years ago (February 2018) the Eagles won the Superbowl.
So literally they've been to TWO Superbowls in the last 5 years.

But even if it were six years........it sure is convenient to make that your cutoff when it supports your agenda.

Let me say my piece about this.

The Cowboys' way is not bad. It just doesn't go far enough. Over the past twenty years or so, when this team has had a healthy QB 1, they have been consistent contenders. The exceptions were 2010, 2015, and 2020 when Romo or Dak were out for extended periods.

The Eagles do what the Cowboys do not. They make big free agent splashes. They make in-season trades and upgrades. There is nothing wrong with "liking your guys" but at the same time you cannot ignore the fact there are not enough draft picks to get premium players at every position of need.

Philadelphia advances farther than Dallas consistently because they are willing to take the extra steps. Jerry Jones can talk about building for future success all he wants, but January 28, 1996 was a long friggin' time ago. At what point does the future actually get here Jerry???
