The win was fantastic. It opens the door for crap teams like St. Louis, San Fransisco and Minnesota.

As much as I want to see the Cowboys win in the playoffs, I would hate to see any of those teams in the playoffs. If these teams were in the East or South, they would have no more than three wins. The 49ers are the most pathetic 5-7 team I've seen in a long time.

How frustrating was this weekend? The Bears should NOT BE 10-2 with Rex Grossman at QB, no matter what Lovie Smith says. That is like the Ravens saying they won the super bowl with Dilfer at QB, when what they should say is that they didn't lose the super bowl with Dilfer at QB. That D can't bail out Grossman every week. And watching Denver let Seattle hang around to kick a game winning field goal. Those two games should have gone the other way. Thanks Brad Johnson, thanks Jay Cutler.

Totally agree. And the Bears won't continue to look like this. Either Grossman gets better, or Griese comes in. Problem solved. I hope they stick with Rex and he gives them false hope, but I see the Griese's trying to become the first father-son combination to win the Super Bowl.

For that reason, and because Seattle's pass D is so bad, the Bears worry me more than the Seahawks. But we do still need the Seahawks to lose at home to San Diego in a couple of weeks. The other NFC teams are off my radar until and unless we lose another game.

I had mixed feelings about Philthy winning...
on one hand I ALWAYS want philthy to lose
on the other it bumped philly into a tie with the NYG.
I feel like the NYG are far more of a threat than Philly or Carolina so I think I'd like to see the NYG miss the playoffs (also due to the fact that it would be a fitting end to Tiki and those loudmouthed ******** and the subsequent meltdown would be beautiful to watch)
The NYG have to play AT Carolina (which both teams will be fighting because that may seal the deal one way or the other for one of those teams)
then the NYG play Philly, who will be wanting revenge. NYG lose those two games and they're officially done, which I think would be funny.
Of course, it wouldn't hurt us any if the NYG were still playing for a WC when they play the Saints either.

What stinks is that we don't fully control our own destiny. I believe that if both us and Seattle win out, they get the bye, and we'd drop into the #3 spot which means we'd have to go to Chicago in the second round.
And Seattle has only one "losable" game left....San Diego. Other than that, its Tampa Bay, Arizona, and 49ers at home.

If Philly beats NY but loses to us, they will probably play Atlanta for a WC, just guessing.

Overall, I'd prefer to get to play Philly, Carolina, and/or New Orleans at HOME in the second round.

I would have rather it have been the Panthers. They could still knock the Gnats out of the playoffs, and id rather play Carolina than NY.

The Ginats still have delusions of a postseason appearance and possibly a division title. But with the Panthers losing tonight, their game at home against the Ginats has now become much bigger and more desperate for a win. They'll be more fired up and focused now on the Ginats, and I don't see the Giants playing well in Carolina. So now Carolina can pssobly shove another fork into the Ginats' side - all the more reason why a Pantehr loss tonight is so HUGE for Dallas.

I agree. Not only that, Giants still have to play with Eagles, knowing Eagles is not easy cake, moral spirit can be a blow as both are playing hard and fighting for playoff.

If we don't get a bye, everyone will be reminding of how the Steelers went through the playoffs last year. But the bye can be huge, especially if there are injuries. I think going through Chicago is almost inevitable anyway, whether it be in the 2nd round or in the championship game.

It's called an opinion, Tony.

Or an educated guess. You barely beat a struggling Carolina team AT HOME, and you think you'll beat the cowboys ON THE ROAD?

You eagles fans aren't blessed with an over abundance of intelligence, that's for sure.
And you guys lost to Washington not too long ago. Any given sunday, especially when you're talking NFC East games

The Panthers are, despite what is said here, are a well coached team who can win against anyone if they avoid mistakes.

Philadelphia is flawed. San Francisco is laughable.

Carolina is also flawed and I think they will miss the playoffs because of this.

They can not run the ball, that is ruining everything else. They can not move the safeties, jake is forcing balls to unopen wr because of this and the defense has been put in bad situations constantly.

I posted yesterday I thought the eagles would play their last good game of the year last night and picked them to win because of this.

I now see the eagles losing the next three because they cant stop the run and wont be able to throw the ball down the field in wash, ny or Dallas.

Alanta and ny should get those spots but i think there is a semi chance the rams get back into that race next week even as bad as they have played.

Gee, I miss that old avatar you had - y'know the one - with the stiffs from the Eagles' line with some nonsense about a "Sack Exchange".

Heck, maybe they should plug the dam on run defense first, huh?

Typical eagle fans...they hide under their bed while they are losing, then all of a sudden they win ONE game and here they are, again, talking crap out of their mouth like they are something!

It's over for that lousey team...but, the cowardly eagle fans go into hiding when they are losing, and only come out into the daylight when they luck out and win a game...

Typical, and embarrassing as well...!

Yeah, Phonetic-Talon is another loser eagle that all of a sudden went "underground" now that their season and team is done, toast!

"Bring it..."

"Get it...."

"Get some..."

Yeah, OK...well it looks like some teams took him up on those offers and "Brought some....Got it...Got some..."!!

:lmao:

How embarrassing!

Talon's hiding.

He was a major polluter here - until the Birds' season once again flew south for the winter.

And it must have been great booing when your starting quarterback had the nerve to pull himself off the turf and stay in the game, huh?

Just when you think Eagles fans can't get any lower, they still manage to surprise you.....
