I think the fans of Texas can be proud of their program. They have a very good one. I always thought Mack Brown got a little too much grief over some of the struggles there. Now, I think folks are seeing that this is a little more even than people realized.
The game was lost because of turnovers and lack of discipline by OU. That's been a little too common lately for that program. It bothers me a ton. I hate finesse football. I hate stupid football. That is exactly what OU is playing right now.
I would never try to blame the refs for tonight's game, but what is the deal with the officiating lately? I don't want a break from officials, so don't misunderstand me, but it's feeling a little too much like everything is going against the Sooners right now.
Anyway, it was a good win by Texas. Smart, disciplined football will usually win a game. It sure did today.
Class all the way.
I feel this win means about as much as the MNC did because it came withtout VY...and it will solidify some of the recruits who were at the game. The talking heads and what not can no longer take credit away from Mack for any reason.
