I have another fact that I would like to add to your list

  • Dallas outscored Denver in 3 out of 4 quarters.
  • Dallas was outscored in the 2nd quarter 21-6 and that cost us the game.
Nothing to be ashamed of. It is time to correct the mistakes and keep on growing. Dallas is in 1st place and undefeated in the division.

With our offense's potential to score we don't need a dominant defense. We need to make stops; especially in the 4th

You highlighted a number of the positives worth noting. There is a lot to like with the offense. The problem is a team with a defense like the one the Cowboys putting on the field has zero chance of going anywhere in the playoffs.

The defensive facts:

The Cowboys are on pace to have one of the worst 5 defenses in the entire history of the NFL
The Cowboys are on pace to give up somewhere north of 5475 yards passing
The Cowboys are on pace to give up 45 passing TDs

This...
Fact .. If our defense continues to play like this, we are toast

I wouldn't say we have the third best offense based off one good showing. But I see improvement

The problem is our defense is playing like our offense did for the past 5 years, we have all the pieces but we can't put the puzzle together. They aren't playing as a team.
We don't have all the pieces. Our DL is incredibly thin and just not all that great. Our safeties are marginal.
As for why we aren't playing as a team, it really does take time to get used to a new system. I don't expect them to have it down until next season.

upon others, but im not going to argue stats, you can tell me how much time of possesion matters, but if Manning does down the field in 50 seconds, TOP doesnt really matter.

Just show up on Sunday and win.... right. No need to break down the game and improve during the week. Nothing else matters.

Fact 1: The Cowboys pass defense was abysmal again, and Romo wasn't perfect enough to overcome it. (And as long as this pass defense is this bad, quarterback perfection is what it's going to take week in and week out for the Cowboys to even have a chance to win. Unfortunately, it's the type of perfection that only the Peyton Mannings of the world can pull off.)

Fact 2: Fact 1 has been a continuous narrative over the past three seasons. It's the reason why the Cowboys continue to finish .500.

hey..........nowhere but up with those numbers.....I swear sometimes we play with 9 or 10 on D............and on offense, we gotta be going against 12 or 13

One more fact: the Broncos have a punter. He will receive a game check today for putting on his uniform and standing on the AT&T Stadium sideline for three hours and thirteen minutes.

And people will blame Tony Romo, not the Dallas defense, for the loss.

I heard he suffocated in a blanket of dust.

Fact 3: Cowboys reverted to a consistent .500 win team under Garrett. Under Wade, the complaint was not winning playoff games.

FACT: They need to use today's performance as a stepping stone for the rest of the season. If they come out and lay an egg next week, this game will be nothing but another missed opportunity.

Agree with all except Claiborne. Yes, he did have a pick but it was a serious underthrow, other than that, Peyton and Decker worked on him all day long
