I know it is likely to be slanted Texas heavy, but who do you have winning tonight? Share why in a post if you so desire. Comments about a true National Championship always welcome.

I figured I needed to answer my own question. Bama wins because I have a serious man crush on Rolando McLain and I need to get over it, because he is likely out of reach. So he will shine and bring me back to the real world.

I think Alabama will win. I want Texas, not because I'm a big Horns fan, I just don't care much for Alabama.

The one thing the NCAA has gotten right more often than not though, with the BCS, is they usually get the clearcut #1 vs. #2 in the championship game.

I think Alabama and Texas deserve to play for the championship. Florida had their shot and lost in the SEC championship game. Cincinnati, TCU and even Boise St basically proved they were overrated and didn't belong anywhere close to the champ. game.

I believe this game could go either way. I do not believe that Alabama's defense is as good as Nebraska's is so I don't see them holding Texas to 13 points. I believe that the Texas defense is better then any Alabama has seen and I think Alabama will struggle to score points against Texas. I think that Colt is the best QB Bama will see and I expect him to have a great game. His last game was not all that great and Colt usually never has two bad outings in a row. I expect this game to come down to turnovers so I think that it's possible that either team can win if the other does not take care of the ball. However, I just think that Texas defense and special teams will be the difference here. I don't think Colt has to score 30. I think 17 could win and I think he can do that. I don't know that the Bama offense can do that against Texas.

I guess we'll see.

I think Bama get's it, but it could go either way.

They both have pretty darn good defenses.

Edge goes to Colt at QB.

Edge goes to RB for Bama.

Julio Jones/The "40" year old WR for TX? Push

Coach that is never happy-Bama

Coach that kisses more butt then Bill Clinton- TX

Lot's of intagibles!

Texas and Alabama both have very good defenses. I expect the offenses to be "slowed down" tonight in a very hard hitting and close game. The difference in this game will come down to the big play, and likely this will come on special teams. Turnovers as always will be critical....

Whoever wins special teams will have an advantage in tonights game and likely wins.

Go Texas! Beat Bama.

:D
