I'm pulling for UT to win this one more than any college game I've watched all year....but I see it Bama 20-17. Hope I'm wrong.

As for National Championship dialog, you are correct...it is Fictional.
It is and always will be until there is some sort of representative playoff (so 4 teams or maybe even 8 does not apply). Someday college football will join the rest of the planet and settle this matter on the field...until then, it is all speculation.
Just think, if the NFL did it this way, the Colts would be playing the Saints or Vikings (or something like that) for the title with no one else being considered....how ridiculous. The one time a year I have to burn the Morning News is when Tim Cowlishaw does he annual rant about why college football should not have a playoff. Idiot. He should be ashamed.....maybe he's a closet dictator wannabe. Wow, could you just imagine the excitment a playoff would cause? And it would be worth billions.

Tide -- because Colt McCoy looked like arse against the two best defenses he played this year -- Oklahoma and Nebraska. And Alabama's defense is so much better.

Tide -- because the UT defense has played against spread offenses all year long and have never faced a big, powerful running attack like the Tide's.

Tide -- Because the SEC is a far better conference. Hey, I'm an OU fan, but I know what's up.

I have a feeling that long before the game is over, folks are going to be saying "We waited this long for this joke of a game?"
