Dak blew the comeback wide open with the poorly thrown first pick at our own 20 and the real dumb bomb pass to Brown on 3rd down with a minute left.He also had several poorly thrown third down conversions that ended drives.

This INT maybe not on Dak other then his nice pass to Hendershot. He SUCKED again

Dak wasn't the reason and played real well outside that 1 pick in the 3rd quarter. Defense was god awful, outside of Bland. Unbelievable fans are blaming the QB when the team scores over 30 points.
Dak is part of the team and, as such, he is a part of every win and every loss. He played very well most of the game, but made mistakes that contributed to the loss.

His first INT was a questionable decision exacerbated by a horrendous throw. Momentum had started shifting to the Jags and that INT accelerated the snowball rolling downhill.

The fateful 3rd down pass on the last drive in regulation was a bad decision by Dak. The QB is the field general and has to know the circumstances. The last thing that should be done there is stop the clock.

Contrast what was done there to what Peyton Manning did in that epic 51-48 shootout with Romo. After the Romo interception and being set up at about the 13 yard line and faced with a 3rd down at the 4 yard line, Peyton told the RB not to score, just get the the 1st.

Now, before the flaming arrows come, I’m not saying Dak was the reason they lost. Nor was the defense the sole reason. After the offense did their job and took the lead back, the defense got a turnover and put the game back in the offense’s hands to close out. And the defense stopped the Jags in OT and put the game in the offense’s hands to win. The offense failed.

Most everyone is blaming Dak for the loss, but look at the last play again and tell me with a straight face if that in any way was his fault. No doubt the first int was a horrible pass but the real reason the team loss is because the defense couldn’t stop the Jags offense. They gave up 192 yards rushing and 318 yards passing! You’re not going to win with that kind of defense

Heck, you can basically see the ball wobbling after it was hit, and by the time it hits Noah's hands, it's facing diagonally vertical. It's not a spiral, it got tipped. Who knows where the ball even would have been if it wasn't hit. It probably would have been behind Brown, as the tip moved it towards the left of the screen.

All that was caused by the fact Dak is running right INTO THE DEFENDER AT THE LINE, so he basically has to jump and throw the ball across his body to try and get it over him. It's not show as drastically here, because the camera angle is shot downwards from above.

Dak didn't give up 500 yards of offense. Outside of the first pick, it was a winnable performance by our QB.

34 points our offense scored. If we held the jags to our season average we win.

If we held them to our season average plus 5, 10 or even 15 points we win.

No, our defense played their worst game of the season giving up 500+ yards of offense. But I forgot this is cowboyszone.......it's dak's fault.
I find it strange that you say the offense scored 34 points, but fail to give credit to the defense that got fumble recovery, interception, fumble recovery. All those turnovers should’ve accounted to touchdowns but you buy dak got fg instead of tds. The offense couldn’t convert one first down on four of final five possessions…you would think people would understand how that gasses a defense. The d was on the field the entire second half and that has a lot to do with poor game management by Dak and it falls on him bc he’s 40mil that could be used to get yourself some highly daughter after fa. Let’s keep the same guy in place that hasn’t done anything in seven years, by im anything I mean show progress in playoff advancement. This will be another year of the same with him coming back again next year, just like last year.

Dak needs to knock off the int’s but that one surely wasn’t on him. That’s why I’m suiting up TY and giving him Brown’s snaps this week. I need a professional WR that knows how to get it done.

Dak got us the lead and the D couldn’t hold. It’s starting to remind me of the Zimmer Defense now…….
Leave Magic Mike alone, he’s the greatest defensive mind behind Belicheck. Granted Mike is coaching at the college level these days…………as a coordinator……but that’s besides the point. Football Jesus aka Mike Zimmer would not allow what happened yesterday…….probably.

So you take a football opinion on a social media site and turn it into an insult towards my military service? You guys are pathetic and so simple minded with an obvious inability to keep your emotions in check.

Sturm is a clown. He leads the caravan of Dak jock-sniffers and does everything in his power to absolve his hero from any criticism. He's driven by his Romo hate. Besides the fact the side view blown up shows the ball being tipped. why is Dak floating towards the right and forward into the defensive linemen, which makes him have to jump and try and toss it over the defender. From this angle, his hips are facing the other way and he has to throw across his body while jumping.

The video doesn’t lie. Just you haters do. It was a spiral right to Brown. Wasn’t tipped. Quit lying.

I'm not even a huge Dak fan, but wow... the mental gymnastics that people are doing in this thread to pin the loss on Dak would win them a gold in the Olympic Games.

How can you watch a QB go 23/29 256 / 3 TD / 1 INT / 72 QBR the entire game and then say he was the reason a team lost after hitting a receiver squarely in the numbers only to have the ball tipped directly into a DBs hands?

Intellectual dishonesty at its finest.

You forgot to add they also have an agenda.
P.S. If you would be so kind to explain when Dak lovers post about "agendas" what exactly are they referring to?
Some people say your team. When it’s our team. I don’t mind our fans criticizing. I don’t like other teams fans coming here and criticizing.

Oh I in no way feel sorry for myself but given your families military lineage, I find it surprising you would even bring up service when criticizing my opinion on a football game is all.

I already responded to this nonsense and these are STILL SHOTS which don't in anyway refute the point. Of course Noah Brown is looking int he direction of HIS QUARTERBACK as he throws the ball. Your stills also show he is going to the GROUND, meaning Dak isn't in anyway hitting his WR in stride, despite the fact BROWN HAS A STEP ON HIS DEFENDER. Why would I care about pictures of Brown regarding DAK's horrible pocket presence and late delivery and the ball being tipped when Dak threw, when I HAVE THE CLIP OF DAK RIGHT HERE BLOWN UP CLEARLY SHOWING HIS AWFUL POCKET PRESENCE, JUMPING WHEN THROWNG WITH HIS HIPS TURNED THE OTHER WAY AFTER HE ROLLS LEFT INSTEAD OF STEPPING UP IN THE POCKET, and IT BEING TIPPED BY THE DEFENDER'S LEFT HAND AND STARTS TO WOBBLE AND DECELERATE.

One has to wonder if hating Dak brings you some sort of pleasure? It certainly can't make you happy, I would think.

I say "tomato" and you say, "I hate our quarterback"....I think Cole Porter wrote that song.

So if the blame lies with the defense, why the Dak defense on what ultimately was a poor pass attempt for the simple reason Dak had defenders in his face and there were 2 defenders around Brown.....and if you watch it seems Brown wasn't expecting the pass as he never looked back towards Dak until the last second and had the ball bounce off his hands based on a blocked view and surprise at getting the ball.

You have to do some impressive mental gymnastics to lay the blame on Dak there. This is why I find myself sticking up for him far too often. There is no rational minded person who isn't overcome with agenda, who could see that play being the qbs fault. It's blatantly obvious Noah Brown blew it. The idea of trying to even debate that is beyond ridiculous.

I don't think Dak was at fault for the loss or that INT. It was clearly on Brown. But look at the play design. There were 3 receivers within 5 yards of each other when Dak was ready to throw the ball. Tyron got a late start and allowed the pass rusher to get behind him and put pressure on Dak so the ball was rushed and a little low. Brown absolutely had to catch that ball which was in his hands.

One other point. Even if Brown caught that ball he was still 1 yard short of the 1st down. The Cowboys were on their own 47 and needed 4 yards. Brown went down at the 50. I have no idea what MM would have done but I suspect he would have gone for it. If they make it they need 10+ yards to get in FG range. If they don't make a 1st down, the Jags get the ball around the 50. Nothing about that play was good.

That first interception was a bad throw from Dak and that can't be defended. But that last interception was definitely not Daks fault. You'll have a couple Dak hatin cowards who will say it's his fault because we loss but film don't lie.

Dak has some blame but if you are not looking for the ball as a receiver, you have no business being out there.

I am not a big Dak fan but I think he did not play bad yesterday. The problem I have with him is that he has thrown at least 2 interceptions a game since his return and the picks have come at the worst of times. not that there is a good time to throw an interception. The picks are usually when we are going into the opponents red zone or our own side of the field. I hope he can clean this up once the playoffs begin.
