"Take it now or never."

Today we find out 49ers Willis is out for the year as is Seahawks' Mebane.

Giants stink and have major injuries, the Commanders locker room is in turmoil and they don't have a QB, the Eagles QB is out for 2 months and their oline continues to suffer injuries.

The Falcons, Saints and Panthers are all underachieving greatly this year. Bears are the 2010 Dallas Cowboys. And I don't care how good Bruce Arians is, you're not going deep into the playoffs with Drew Stanton, chalk up your L.

Guys, do you not see what's going on here in the NFC this year? I thought last season was the perfect opportunity for the Cowboys to make noise but we all know how that ended. Some how the football Gods have been merciful and blessed us with yet another clear path to at least the NFC title game. After years of stability, you're not going to get the NFC in this much chaos and disarray ever again (at least for this core of Cowboys). Meanwhile the Cowboys have been realitvely healthy (where have the hamstrings gone?) and the team chemistry hasn't been this high in 15 years (who would have ever thought we'd see the Landry Shift again!). I really hope the players take this bye week to acknowledge the great opportunity that is in front of them and finally seize it!

I fully expect butt fumble to return in a big way to his true self. they love him this week but just wait lol

So are you saying that Green Bay and Detroit are automatic losses for us in the playoffs?

our defense does not match up well with them thats for sure. call me crazy but I can see Indy and Chicago, yes I said Chicago having big games against this defense. just because a different team steam rolls another team doesnt mean the next guy will.

also, I was thinking Sunday say Dallas actually made it through the playoffs to face a team like Denver. that is a complete, crazy good team on both sides of the ball even with injured rbs. Dallas is nowhere near that level on defense. talk about pass rushers and skill players it would be very, very difficult. and yes I remember the last Denver game. that was a brilliant effort to play up to their level. the level they play at every week.

If our players aren't foaming at the mouth for a shot at both GB and Detroit after we collapsed against both of them last season then this team has ZERO heart and they don't deserve to wear a star on their helmet

Cards, Philly and the Seahawks will be our competition this year. We handle the seahawks and I really do believe we could have beaten the cards with Romo...lets see how we can do aganist Philly.

I wouldnt call those collapses. not as in Wades team collapsed. we simply had ZERO answer for Megatron but the guys played hard to the end. they just beat us. dude had 300+ yards receiving it was crazy. Green Bay was a loss because someone decided to stop running over them with Murray. dumb decision and cost the game.

The Eagles are not a team to dismiss.Sanchez is a fair bus driver and Chip is a good coach.

GB worries me because of Rogers. He WILL light us up; that could be exactly like the Denver game of last year.

Detroit is another; Megatron and Tate are probably the most dangerous duo in the league right now if Megatron is anything close to healthy.

But it does seem that the road is somewhat easier then the past few years

We lost to Colt McCoy and that loss probably is the difference in home field advantage this year...........................just saying that other team's having injuries does not mean you automatically win the game.

I'm confident in this team because we have an offensive approach that can be played in any weather. Our line will be the driving force when we run over teams.

We had the ball with a minute to play and the lead vs Detroit and totally collapsed in the final minute of the game.

We were leading GB by what was it 28 pts at halftime? And had them come back and beat us in the 2nd half. A total collapse. The two worst collapses in Dallas cowboy history

You forgot that the Detroit Lions look like a juggernaut and Aaron Rodgers appears to be possessed by a mythological God sent to Earth to play quarterback.

The Football Gods aren't saying anything. They are too busy making other teams fumble, blow assignments, miss tackles, commit penalties unseen by the naked eye, and making that strange pig skinned covered ball bounce straight into the hands of guys wearing green during Iggles games.

Hey, I agree you with mostly about Denver. However, they aren't unbeatable. They have 2 losses. They got their butts kicked by the Patriots and will lose again if they have to go to Foxboro in January. Tom Brady ripped that Denver defense to shreds. They lost to Seattle, who Dallas mostly dominated.

I'll be honest and tell u what scares the hell out of me. We get to the playoffs and let's say we even win round 1, we then advance and face a Rogers of GB or let's say we advance all the way to the NFC Championship game or even the SB. At some point we are going to face a really really good QB that we have not really had to face yet. Can our D as it stands today get through an onslaught such as that?

I just have this picture in my mind where Romo once again has to be lights out Capt America to even be in a game and then we get the one critical mishap...And then it's back to Romo can't win the big one, or Romo choked etc. Would hate to see that be the outcome just because he has to keep score with a Manning or a Rogers because our defense just is not up to the challenge yet. It's really something, if we loose at any point in the playoffs it will be Romo's fault no matter how he plays. Just don't want to see that.

completely agree
