Not necessarily “the best front office” but the Eagles GM is held accountable by the team’s owner, similar to how most NFL franchises are run. When this team finally realizes it needs a true NFL caliber front office then we can expect real change. In the mean time get accustomed to hearing how philly has the best front office in the NFL.
You've mastered the self-deception that every season is a brand new day, and nothing from the past matters. That's not how real life works. There are two constants.Cowboys fans are such quitters. Most of you have given up so why are you here? Just cry like little girls?
Bingoif you think the future is bright, you are quite dim
Dumb and Dumber..blithering idiots!!!!You've mastered the self-deception that every season is a brand new day, and nothing from the past matters. That's not how real life works. There are two constants.
You live in the past, you stay in the past. You've mastered the self-deception that every season is a brand new day, and nothing from the past matters. That's not how real life works. There are two constants.
He’s got every nfl fan too. The bar I watched the game in had 5 Cowboys fans and zero Niners fan, but every fan of every other team was rooting AGAINST the CowboysJerry has us all right where he wants us and why? Because we care one way or the other. If we didn't care, we wouldn't be here. He's got us on a rope.
"Well, here's another nice mess you've gotten me into!" (Oliver Hardy to Stan Laurel, 'Laurel and Hardy')You've mastered the self-deception that every season is a brand new day, and nothing from the past matters. That's not how real life works. There are two constants.
I’m probably more pissed than you are but keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.Yes there’s the participation trophy mentality, you’re happy great they beat up the sub .500 team. This will be the Dak theme by the homers “look at that TB game, elite” and follow up with every QB has a bad game. Be happy with losing, sad way to think.
Nothing is etched in stone, who knows maybe next year it clicks, we can only hope. No reason to be pissed it’s only a game and zero impact on your like, enjoy a cold one next season will be here before we know itI’m probably more pissed than you are but keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.
I like pulling for losers so i can't go root for the Eagles.Go root for the Eagles.
Agreed on all of it other than wanting Zeke back at the league minimum. He MUST go.There’s a lot to be optimistic about. The Cowboys have a strong core of players and have numerous ways to lower their salary cap. It’s obvious the weakness is the wide receivers. Outside of Cee Dee, they have no one. Not sure what’s up with Gallup but he was just lost out there. I gave him a pass early because he was coming back from injury. But that play where Dak threw an interception, he looked like he didn’t know what to do on that route. So they definitely need to spend some capitol on a high end WR in free agency.
Zeke is done. I wouldn’t want him back at anything more than the league minimum.
Dak was awful during this game. They’re not going to make it deep in the playoffs with that kind of play. He needs better options around him at WR and he needs to stop forcing it to try to win the games single handedly. I think another top end WR will allow that to happen. But he’s got to do his part and quit thinking he’s Mahomes. He’s not. But they can win with him I have no doubt.
It’s also time to spend some capitol on defensive lineman. Hankins played great but he’s just a stop gap. When Watkins is your best DL, then you know you’re in trouble.
CB is another area that needs addressed. Diggs is solid although he doesn’t like to tackle like Prime didn’t. Bland is solid and Mukuamu has a chance. But they need depth and they have no one.
They should resign LVE. I think he had his best year. Just from a fan perspective I’d like them to play Micah at LB more. Just to help extend his career and also to take advantage of his speed.
They’ll probably have a new DC and OC as well as other coaches. They need to hit a home run here with their replacements.
So there’s reasons to be optimistic. I for one am. I will always have hope and never give up.
You do you.I like pulling for losers so i can't go root for the Eagles.
I can agree with both of your points. Gallup regressed beyond what his injury should cause.Agreed on all of it other than wanting Zeke back at the league minimum. He MUST go.
I would even promote moving on from Gallup if we could and spending that money elsewhere.
