There’s a lot to be optimistic about. The Cowboys have a strong core of players and have numerous ways to lower their salary cap. It’s obvious the weakness is the wide receivers. Outside of Cee Dee, they have no one. Not sure what’s up with Gallup but he was just lost out there. I gave him a pass early because he was coming back from injury. But that play where Dak threw an interception, he looked like he didn’t know what to do on that route. So they definitely need to spend some capitol on a high end WR in free agency.

Zeke is done. I wouldn’t want him back at anything more than the league minimum.

Dak was awful during this game. They’re not going to make it deep in the playoffs with that kind of play. He needs better options around him at WR and he needs to stop forcing it to try to win the games single handedly. I think another top end WR will allow that to happen. But he’s got to do his part and quit thinking he’s Mahomes. He’s not. But they can win with him I have no doubt.

It’s also time to spend some capitol on defensive lineman. Hankins played great but he’s just a stop gap. When Watkins is your best DL, then you know you’re in trouble.

CB is another area that needs addressed. Diggs is solid although he doesn’t like to tackle like Prime didn’t. Bland is solid and Mukuamu has a chance. But they need depth and they have no one.

They should resign LVE. I think he had his best year. Just from a fan perspective I’d like them to play Micah at LB more. Just to help extend his career and also to take advantage of his speed.

They’ll probably have a new DC and OC as well as other coaches. They need to hit a home run here with their replacements.

So there’s reasons to be optimistic. I for one am. I will always have hope and never give up.

Who says he's leaving? I don't see him leaving to be honest. He has it made here so why would he want to take on another job with more stress when it's been proven he's not a great head coach.
I'm sure Quinn would love a second chance to prove his head coaching abilities. I believe some team will want to hire him and he will take that opportunity.

The problem has been the same since Jimmy got fired..........The owner and the GM......he isn't going anywhere and he isn't going to hire a real GM so the result is mediocrity like it's been since Jimmy got fired.

Rocky, you're like the Kevin Bacon character at the end of
Animal House... lol

"All is well!"

Maybe the 28th time will finally be a charm.

Okay, everyone. The show's over. Crawl out of your caves and
re-introduce yourselves to your families.

It’s really not. Unless you have an elite qb you don’t have much of a window.
I mean there is 1 elite QB left in this thing and Burrow working his way there.....Purdy is not elite, and Hurts? This is not the same NFL as the 90's if you dont have an elite QB then you better have an elite everything else..kinda like the niners and eagles.....

I appreciate the optimism. But this team is handcuffed by Jones. Pretty much expect the same result we've witnessed the last almost 30 years now.

I believe the children are our future...meaning...we're going to have to wait on the children to grow up, play football, and eventually be Dallas Cowboys before we get to a NFC Championship game. But, almost! Next year! The future is bright! Indeed! ;)

lol...I don't know how much money you are spending on lipstick to put on that pig named Prescott. For a supposed Marine your standards should be much higher that it is...but now with this post I'm thinking you got kicked out of the Boy Scouts for eating Brownies.

7 years and they can not find a way to build a winning team with this QB as the main guy. Everyone can stop pretending he can get it done, he can't and hasn't. He is not the one to break the mold.

Be miserable. That’s cool with me. Just don’t beat your wife or dog.

I 100% think we’re close…and that if we added a weapon or 2 in offense and a little more on defense we could go all the way.

Unfortunately, my faith in the Jones to actually make it happen is incredibly low.

So while I think the roster is close enough to being championship caliber I have practically zero faith our front office will get us over the hump.

If we can add a high caliber rb and continue beefing up the oline it would be huge. We also desperately need speed at wr.

I'd love to see Dak get some actual windows to throw into. We seem to get very little yac. I hope against hope we can move on from KM.
