Superpunk thinks it may be the answer.
Although, Superpunk is nearly delirious with hunger.
So Superpunk is going to eat. But not dog food. Thank goodness for food packaging, or those savory meat morsels may just be too much for Superpunk to resist!

I will take a bad year to have a franchise QB for the next 12 yrs.
I think that wouldn't be enough to move from very late to the first overall pick. Besides, 2 first and 2 second rounders for a completely unproven player?dthahn said:The Future QB of the Cowboys is... Brady Quinn!!!
However, it would take a king's ransom for the 'Boys to trade up to get him in next year's draft. I think it would take the 'Boys 1st and 2nd picks in 2007 and 1st and 2nd picks in 2008 but it would be worth it in my opinion.
What do you guys think?

I think Quinn is the best QB to come out in a while.
Definitely it would take a king's ransom to trade up and draft him but....
1) every year the team drafting #1 wants to trade down no matter who is there waiting
2) Who knows, maybe we don't have to trade away two years' worth of first day picks...maybe the team will covet a player on our roster...maybe Ellis does a sign and trade...maybe someone would give us the #1 pick for our #1, and someone like Roy Williams....
Anyway, the point is that JJ is a wheeler-dealer and its not that preposterous to think that its possible. If Henson or Romo don't look like the dude this year then its a safe conclusion to think we'll be looking long and hard at QBs next offseason be it the draft or FA.
I see next year as the absolute last year to draft DB's successor based on what I think DB has left as far as quality seasons. Even if not a draft pick, we'll still need to start grooming a young FA as successor, whomever that guy is. I'd love it to be Henson because he's the cheapest solution by far but I really think Quinn is a can't miss hot-shot NFL QB. He'll have a lot of success in the NFL. He actually reminds me of bigger, stronger, better Drew Brees. Kid has serious moxie.

CrazyCowboy said:I don't believe it will happen....too expensive and Bledsoe will QB for at least 3 more years!
The Answer said:Don't be so sure.....THE ANSWER is out there somewhere waiting to be found, whether it's Romo, Henson or Mroz only time will tell.
