If Brady had that statline he'd be praised for taking what the defense gave him. He did complete several downfield throws as well as a called back touchdown

I think very, very few want him to fail. They're just afraid to commit. The more they enjoy what's happening now, the bigger the emotional investment, the worse the potential letdown.
