C'mon! The defense kept them in the game in the 1st half! And despite being bad in the 2nd half, they DID give the offense a chance to win it! This one was on Romo. He was just off all night... (and special mention to Murray's untimely turnover....)

Defense was horrid on tackling. We took a lot of bad angles and had too many misses. Out TO's on offense hurt us but we got picked apart by McCoy and we just couldn't get any pressure. It's one of those games and I'm sure we'll come back next week to throw some blows with Arizona.

8 yard run on 1st down in OT, followed by 3 straight passes with a gimpy QB and struggling O-Line.

Commanders bringing the house all game, completely inability to scheme a way to counteract it and stop getting your QB killed.

Outcoached.

I disagree about the outcoached part at the end of the game. That was just total lack of common sense.

This is a thread for bagging on him, so, have at it.

I only bag on him when he deserves it and I do not blame this on him unless you pin the team not being motivated on him. I think they were looking past Washington. The key will be how they respond to this.

It's no one person's "fault". Teams lose in the NFL. It happens. Should the Colts fans be whining asking for Pagano's head because they were whooped yesterday when everyone expected them to win?

You won 6 games in a row by running the ball......then stopped...goal line stance...Murray takes them to the 3 yard line and then 2 straight passes and FG....not one single run......great plan.....great coaching.....Running gets you to the 3 and passing netted you ZERO....why not Run...why not trust your OL... Its Garrett style of game......no plan....just same ol crap...

The ghosts of Linehan finally make an appearance. I was wondering when it would happen. No excuse for that last series or the first series in the shadow of their own goalposts during regulation.

This game reminded me of the 2007 divisional, where they got away from pounding the ball to play chuck-ball...that they did it with an obviously hobbled quarterback was even more disquieting.

Cowboys were out coached and out played. We did not tackle well, we did not throw it well, we did not run at times we should have, they had a better plan than us. It is not the end of the world. That is the Cowboys/Commanders rivalry. We are not going 15-1, there are going to be some losses. I guess the thing that really disappoints me is we got away from who we are at 2nd and goal from the 2, and 2nd and 2 in overtime and did not run the ball. STAY WHO YOU ARE.

Yep...Murray rips off a huge gain to inside the five and then this cute b.s. from previous years comes to the fore. I don't know why they can't exorcise that crap from their philosophy...I just don't know why. More disheartening than the loss is the cracks that have appeared in their willingness to pound the frigging ball. 3 drives and one FG to show for it...I agree totally!!!

The thing is this was a classic trap game. We were playing a team we should have beat after playing so well for so many games. The team was looking past Washington , so I guess Garrett deserves a little bit of blame for not having the team motivated and focused but these type of games happen to all teams. I have NEVER defensed Garrett but it is hard to blame this on him. How they respond next week will say a lot about him.

It's Romo's job to make protection adjustments. Coaches can't do that no matter how much you want to blame them for it
