yeah - you're right there , we can beat them because we did it twice last season BUT my point is , can we recover from a devastating choke like that?

Are you going to recover from that car wreak that you will get into next week?

Get it...?

Did you recover from the flu the last time you had it?

Live in the past if you want...hell, live in the future if you want! Me, and other fans will just live in the present and see how it all works out without worring what will happen.

George Foreman beat the hell out of all his opponents until he met Ali...

Recover? How so? Are our players so emotionally shattered after losing that game that they won't be able to perform their duties on the field?

And I don't think we choked at all. It is hard to beat a good team 3 times in one season. Heck, it's hard to beat a good team just twice. What killed us in that game were a lot of the same things that plagued us consistently all last season. We shot ourselves in the foot playing undisciplined football (that usually only showed it's head in the first quarter), and it finally caught up with us.

It's what they haven't done - they haven't lost. Eli hasn't regressed or imploded - he's gotten better. They are a young team with a rising SuperStar in Justin Tuck and the best Big target in the NFL in Burress.

NO Super Bowl hangover at all.

I hope we revisit this thread and they are 9-7 and you laugh at me, I really do.

Dude, I agree they are defending champs and deserve that respect, but you are swinging from their collective giblets.

Who cares what their record is, Pats went into the Superbowl undefeated and still lost. All the matters is that we get in the playoffs and shut them up there, assuming they make it, which they probably will.

We'll give them the respect a defending Champion deserves but no way do the Cowboys fear them.

What about the Cardinals and the Bills? They're 2-0. Are they the best team as well?

The Bills were pretty underrated coming into the season, they've made some good decisions lately.

The Cards are always someone's sexy pick because they have such weapons on offense... in other news, I really wish we had gotten Boldin. :)

Yeah but did you see Fitzgerald's move today? Made the Miami defender look silly.
However, we are just tyring to stay on the OP's logic.:D
