The reason Lee can't stay healthy is becuase he's undersized for his position.

Willis and Bowman . Are they undersized? Some guys are glass, and just not made for football. Lee has been injured since high school...

A little early to say that. I'd give them another year or two before calling Mo or Carter busts.

Carter was anointed, like a lot of Cowboys, way too early. Another potential guy that has never been that good.

Yes he was and he was also injured a lot. The fact that Lee is undersized for the position is not debatable. It's a fact. He's 6'2" 234lb's. That's way way too small for a mike.

Really ? Google London flecther's size . You have no idea what you're saying.

Thomas was never 242. I went to school with him and his college roommate I worked with for years. He was always around 230 and can remember vividly him using my scale almost daily.

Check around. He was 5-11 242lbs.

He hasn't finished a year yet without being injured is why.

I think the Cowboys had 2,346 players come in for the defensive line this season. I guess all the starters are to small to play on the dline.

Now, I get what you are saying!

Ware is also too small to play DE in the 4-3. It showed this season as he got beat up.

I'm not going to get into this with you, bro. Football is physical. Cole Beasley played the entire season, did not get hurt.

Lee was always around the ball on almost every tackle, of course he is going to be hurt, That is his style of play, he goes all out. That's why announcers compare him to "old school" football players.

Ware is not the only guy on the dline that got "beat up". The Cowboys had players working from Home Depot come in and try and help...yet, Ware was there at the end.

And, the bigger they are, the harder they fall.

And, dynamite comes in small packages.

Carter was great last year and horrible this year. Yet everyone assumes this year is the real Carter, totally dismissing last year as if it never happened.

I agree. Give him another year. Let's see how he responds to this.

Lee's weight has nothing to do with injuries like a broken arm, hurt neck, or sprained ankle....it's not like he's separating his shoulder or being mauled taking on blocks or RBs. He's plenty big enough. Most Mikes are not the size of Patrick Willis. Lee was smallish for a 3-4 ILB, and he excelled there as well. In a 4-3, his size is not a factor...he could easily bulk up, but his quickness and ability in coverage are strengths. He has said himself that he doesn't want to put on a lot of weight.

Carter was indeed great just last season, his second year in the 3-4. He will also come on strong next year in his second year in the new system. Some guys take a little longer to adjust to new schemes and excel without thinking.

Spencer, Rat and Austin were my biggest goats. I could go on but I'll leave it there.

Sean Lee weighs 234. Do you think 240 is some magical number? If Lee gained 5-6 pounds, would that prevent rolling an ankle, breaking a wrist, or spraining a neck? Ridiculous. You can make an argument that he's injury prone, but blaming it on his size is silly.

Well, looks like I do know what I'm talking about. When was the last time Lee played in every game of the season?

So your premise is : if Sean lee weighed 240 he would be superman and never get hurt . Yea whatever dude let's get rid of Sean lee our best player . Size makes you not get hurt right ? You have no idea what you're saying .

This is called "piling on" someone elses bad idea with more bad ideas. Can anyone explain if Carter lost his talent, much like ELi would have had to, which i doubt, bad years? yes, completely their faults, dont think so. Eli didnt forget how to throw a ball, Carter didnt forget hwo to run down players. For Carter, i dont think the scheme helped, nor do i think he got much coaching help. I remember the first two games, when everyone jumped on the obvious "congrat" threads to said coaches, and than it fell apart, (reacting, not thinking will do that), but i think some of the coaches we brought in werent as good, and I think someone named Kiffen forced a scheme on some players, and the experiment went south in a hurry.

For the most and simple part, Ware can walk, Spencer can walk, than it gets harder. Yes we know Lee is injury prone, okay, but do you toss intelligence away that easily, no, Clair, Carter, Carr, can they be salvaged, sure.

Raise your hand when you wanted T New gone, and wheres he playing and whats he doing? Exactly.

So we know its not always the players, sometimes its the coaches, someone its a meddling ol fool. Either way, I think some players can return, and some its time to force them to say hello to their replacement for better or worse.

Is Ware a terrific player, yes he is, does owning a lamborghini do you any favors if its in the shop all the time? no it doesnt, well maybe the pictures or registration. But as awesome as Ware looks on the sidelines, id prefer him on the field and lately hes been a ghost on the field or running past qbs. If Rod says he can change this, okay im on board, if hes iffy on the subject, let Ware walk. Its like trying to debate me why you are keeping a bill you cant pay for, you might like owning the Corvette, but you cant afford to fuel the corvette. A great car, but doesnt fit your garage.

Its time to move on and stop holding on to the shiny toys that dont really offer you anything. If he can succeed elsewhere, im happy for him, my concern is for the Cowboys, not players that move on to better pastures.
