I been listening to old AC/DC and INXS lately. Who's the better frontman?

Michael Hutchence or Bon Scott? No question Hutchence had the better voice but who was the better overall performer/frontman?

Probably the two best in Australian history. They got the two best selling records ever there i believe.

A thread about frontmen and no mention of probably the greatest band leader James Brown.

many have emulated his style and band leader on stage mannerisms and rules.

Bruce Springsteen, Prince and many others.

  • Ozzy Ozborne
  • Stevie Ray Vaughn
  • Joe Bonamassa
  • Kenny Wayne Shepherd
  • Taylor Momsen
  • Ric Ocasek
  • Joan Jett
  • Stevie Nicks
  • Samatha Fish
  • Whitney Houston

  • Janis Joplin
  • Steven Tyler

  • Axl Rose
  • Rod Stewart
  • Kurt Cobain
  • Chuck Berry
  • Prince
  • Michael Jackson

  • Scott Weiland
  • Billy Gibbons
I'm sure there are a few I'm missing, but these are AWESOME.
Wow, nice list. Surprised to see Etta James on there and I completely agree. Also Willie, I've seen him several times and he never gets old (no pun intended). He's not always on his A game but there's just somehting about seeing him up there singing some of the most iconic songs of country music as he strums away on Trigger. He's also done several fantastic duos covering all genres of music. Unfortunately his days are numbered (but I've been saying that for years) so if anyone gets a chance to see him don't miss it.
