Hurts is a busdriver when it comes to the Eagles passing game.

The Eagles are 4-6 when Hurts passes more than 28 times.

Not only is Dak #1 in wins when passing 28 or less times, he is in the too third when passing more.

There are only a handful of QB's with a winning record when passing more than 28 times. Dak had a 49% win percentage in that regard.

Hurts was a complete beast that game and Im on record as saying that before last season he was a limited QB. I was dead wrong. The boy can ball.

I'll wait until he's throwing into pass coverage before I crown him. I saw these kind of performances by Lamar Jackson back in 2019. Great passing stats. That year remains his best. Yeah, because anyone can throw against run defenses.

When Mahomes had a bad line, he didn't win ANY superbowls, if that weren't the case he wouldn't have been running for his life every play in the previous superbowl.

Rush is a career back up who lives in and out of the practice squad. Dak has proven he's a top 10 in the NFL most of the seasons during his career and both of them have been in the league the same amount of time.

Rush's name shouldn't even be in the same sentence as Dak. Dak's name shouldn't be in the same sentence as Mahomes.

I have yet to read someone here saying Dak is as good as Mahomes.

I’ve been a Dak fan and supporter. However, I did start to lose faith in him last year. That being said. I do think moving on from Kellen Moore was imperative to see if the defect was with Dak or Kellen’s play calling. Reviewing the body of work I feel Kellen lacked a mature feel of play calling and couldn’t design misdirection or trick plays to save his life. The ground game was overly simplistic and lacked imagination. Let’s see if MM can get the best out of Dak before we move on.

His stats disprove the 28 pass attempt barrier. He had 8 wins throwing over 30 passes & both of his losses were below 28 attempts. I guess that stat is strictly for Dak.
I'm assuming these stats are for only when Hurts played

I stand corrected. Apparently, I made a compilation error. These things happen but, no excuses.

Hurt is 12-6 when throwing more than 28 passes. Interestingly, he is 12-5 when throwing less than 28 passes but more than 10 passes. He is one of a very few QB's that have won more than they lost when throwing more than 28 passes.

However, his stats do not disprove the 28 passes record.

During the past 10 seasons, 2013 to 2022, there were 61 QB's that threw 28 or less passes in 10 games or more. Their combined record is 812-444. They won almost 65% of those games.

During that same time period 73 QB's threw more than 28 passes in ten games or more. Their combined record is 3420-1587. They won 46% of those games.

It is true that, in most cases, QB's won more by throwing less because it wasn't necessary to throw more, they were protecting a lead. However, as I have pointed out, the Cowboys sometimes continued to pass deep into the 2nd half even though they were up by as much as two TD's. They lost three games they should have won just last season as a result.
