Colin Cowherd played "Low-End / High-End" for a bunch of the QBs

For Trevor Lawrence, he said low-end, Andrew Luck. High-end, Troy Aikman.

I have a controversial opinion but to me I would almost flip that for low and high. Emmitt was that offense, and Irvin was the second best player. Aikman was a very good QB, but at no point did I think he was one of the very very best in football. Andrew Luck was in that very best in football talk. He could take a team of nothing and win 8-9 games and then when that team doesnt have him they win 2 games.

Let me guess his floor is Ryan leaf....he’ll play something in beteeen

C'mon guys . Troy was surrounded by extreme talent. Can't afford to do it now. that's pushing it.. The Jags have a ton of cap space, better throw the kitchen sink at it!

Every QB that won the SB in the 90's and early 00's were surrounded by extreme talent even Dilfer.

Of the dozens of QBs to compare him to, Aikman??

I dont see it.

If means Aikman accomplishments, that's about as good as anyone can realistically hope for...

So Trevor Lawrence can be a good QB who can win Super Bowls if he has the best RB in the game, the best OL in the game, a top 2 or 3 receiver and the #1 defense in the game? That's going out on a limb .. There has been a couple hundred guys with the physical tools to win championships with the hand that Troy was dealt. But the list of guys with the physical and mental toughness and mental acuity to get it done is quite a bit shorter. I'm not sure Lawrence belongs on that list. We shall see.

I like Lawrence but being a tough guy in college taking on defenders will not end well if he continues to do that in the NFL. Chances are great he is in Jacksonville who has a ton of cap space, they better make sure they give Lawrence protection and some outside weapons. That was something Cinn failed to give Barrow last season. Do Lawrence a favor give him the big guys up front

I think saying that any players floor, is to be on Andrew Lucks level, is pretty crazy. Andrew luck was a great QB. He just got injured and was never the same after that.

Meanwhile, any player in the draft can bust. Any player.

As far as the ceiling being Troy.

well, I think any QB you draft #1 overall. You expect them to have a HoF ceiling. Lawrence is one of the best QB prospects in some time. So yeah it’s kind of a no brainer that he has the potential to be a Hall of fame caliber QB.

we will see if that happens or not.
