Ashley Lelie sucks really bad...I'm a little surprised no one has picked up Matt Jones, I know he messed up in Jacksonville, but he made some huge strides last year. I'd take him in a snap.

If that's the case then it wouldn't make a difference to call back Pacman either.

i agree, should've brought in MJ. Probably would've take much money at this point and he can't be worse at getting open than the guys we have. At least he can run

65-761 in 12 games last year.

He must be able to at least get open, at least catch everything, even though low yds-per-catch.

The Matt worry thing is not drugs, but that he was suspended in the middle of the season (2006?) by his coach just for being apathetic. (Maybe that was due to drugs ????)

Otherwise, not a bad guy. He was holding and distributing in his own car, a little candy passed around to his buddies in his Ark. hometown in a parking lot after a HS football game maybe, might not have been his stash anyway, he was just being sociable, when a cop saw the light on inside the car, guys having too much fun in there, boom. Jones was in the driver's seat, his SUV, so he was blamed. (He didn't get the hometown discount!)

Then he had a beer or two playing golf some months later, violating his probation for the above offense. That's it I think.

I have the feeling that the rest of the season is going to get a little weird .. maybe M. Jones will join in yet another round of Jerry's desperation moves ..

Let's see, the end of year starting skill players. Empty the bench:

QB: McGee
RB: Chauncey Washington, Erik Bickerstaff, one of the Hambricks, Keon Lattimore, Dominic Rhodes
TE: Chandler and Phillips. Beans and Rice will working a lounge in Vegas. Witten would be a great straight man. A good straight man is hard to find, like Bud Abbott.
WR: Ogletree and Jones.
