I agree with Home of Legends, would not have been all that enthused about Jones a few weeks back, but these receivers are pitiful. They need to do something.

Agree with Ogletree needing playing time, but not entirely sure he should replace Hurd. Maybe Austin?

Matt Jones is fast as hell...and i'm with the guy who said learn one route right now...I think he could burn it 2 or 3 times with one route. He'll sign with us for next to nothing, so what's the harm?

He doesn't know the offense so he wouldn't be able to help for a while. So why take up a roster space? And who do you cut to sign him?

How much faster is Matt Jones than what we have now?

I honestly know almost nothing about the guy except what I have heard on here.

He was a first rounder by Jacksonville who had about 800 yards on 65 catches last year and was their best receiver(not saying much.

He was the starting quarterback at Arkansas, yes Arkansas, but wasn't really very highly regarded at that position.

He proceeded to run a 4.3 at the NFL combine and all 32 teams proceeded to go ape **** over him cause he is 6 foot 6. He was a 1st rounder.

He kinda sucks, but kinda not. Kinda a mixed bag, he is still learning but maybe his time has passed him by. I think he's worth nabbing and maybe developing. More so than some of the guys we've had for a billion years.
