He doesn't know the offense so he wouldn't be able to help for a while. So why take up a roster space? And who do you cut to sign him?

Bingo.

Absolutely yes! I don't know wth we're waiting on to be honest. The status of our WR position now that the new season has finally dawned light on it, is disgusting to say the least. We NEED help, period.

it will be roy williams 2.0. member last year? he'll come in and he wont know the offense..then we will begin complaining that he wusnt what we expected....lets not even go there.

If Romo can't "trust" guys like Crayton, Hurd or Austin who've been here several seasons or Roy Williams who's been working w/ Romo since last year (and even in the off-season)... how long would it take for Romo to "trust" Matt Jones?

So you are saying he would fit in well?

Applying this logic means Randy Moss would be a waste of time as well.
I hope all those who have bad mouthed this guy will man up when he gets that chance and redeems himself. Dallas needs help at WR and MJ can stretch the field which could also opens up running lanes for that other Jones. I bet if he had a different texture to his hair he would've already gotten that shot.

I guess he could always plug in his Nintendo and play a few games of Tecmo. :laugh2:

Romo misses Terry Glenn and its a shame what Jerry did to him.....

now Jerry's responsible for a guys knee's being shot?

I mean after we dumped him, he went elsewhere and lit it up right?

Where do you people get this stuff? When's he ever been a downfield threat? Um, that would be never. he isnt a good route runner and has average at best hands. And he doesnt have quickness for the position. I dont recall many (if any) examples of him running away from NFL defenders. His stats speak for themselves, he's not an explosive player or a guy that "scares" anybody.

We Do Not Need Another Big Wr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's funny you say this, the deadskins are tired of their tiny receivers.

Except the guys calling the shots have the same hair texture. ;)

Because the big ones they drafted (high picks, which everyone says we MUST do) are all busts.

Why is it Brett Favre could miss most of TC and light up the league at age forty, and our young stud QB can't find a comfort level with guys he has been playing with for years? Sounds like a cop out to me.

As poor as our WR corps is doing, I would hope we are considering it now.

It is one thing before the season to assume that he would stunt the development of our young WRs.

From the looks of things, it is likely we've seen the best of Austin and Hurd. We need more weapons. Austin had a nice game at Tampa, but our inability to move the ball with him points out either Romo isn't on the same page with him or frankly, he's not getting the job done getting open.

The problem is, as it has always been, the disruption to the special teams. Neither Austin nor Hurd is going anywhere because of it.

Huh?

Who is Marvin Harrison playing for right now?
