Ok on youtube do a search for ....Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles 12_15_91
it is the complete game, and it is a interesting game.
This was the first year Dallas made the playoffs under jimmy and they were not yet
the SB team, but most of the players were there.
Now many would say buerline was a better qb than cassel or weeden or moore, but if you
watch this game you will see he was not all that good.
at one point he was 1 of 12 later 6 of 27 lol and that is way worse than our qb's this year.
The eagles had the best run and pass defense that year, and had sacked aikman in 1st game
11 times.
In this game they shut emmit down, at one point he had 17 for 48 yards. So he was a non factor
for most part.
Both teams need to win to get in playoffs, and both teams are using bkup qb's
it is cold and in philly, and dallas had not won there since 86
but anyway you can see what the 91 JJ team did with a bkup QB. as opposed to our 2015 team.
The difference is clear to see, although I concede they had a better defense and defensive scheme
and DC. and that made a difference.
Also at times you can see jimmy talking serious to players and coaches, dont know what he is saying
but he doesnt just stand there and pat players, he does clap though, but mostly after good things.
But you can just see the differences in what that team is like and what our team is like now.
That is why this team won and todays team couldnt win but 1 of 11 without tony.
Jimmys team won games with their bkup, and got in playoffs.
I will add you can see where players stepped up when others were shut down.
Irving stepped up and novachek, and the defense stepped up.
But it is interesting as it is not a great dallas team, and they still find a way to win.
and no false starts to mess things up!
