The idea of MM being retained is a slap in the face to all Cowboys fans

Thought the same thing all year long....the ONLY thing that could stop it was a bunch of meaningless victories against sad teams....and of course it happened. Next year will be delicious though, when Booger realizes what a mistake he made in regard to Dim and Corky.
These nicknames self loathing cowboy “fans” regurgitate are childlike and not even remotely funny.

Think of the last 5 yeras...JG, extend the QB...soon to extend MM

There is no care to improve this team, and only the gullible are still holding out hope. The rest of us watch...and watch....and watch

What other team has signed a new head coach?

I know you’re outraged because that’s how we are, but what is it you want?

Be specific.

Who is supposed to be signed, today, as the new head coach?

and is that even possible considering no teams have signed new coaches
In person interviews with coaches currently under contract with a team cannot be done before January 20, 2025. No team is going to hire a head coach without talking to them in person. Obviously no team has signed a new head coach yet.

Jerry and his "change of heart". Worst owner in the NFL, intent on every single fan becoming indifferent and casual. And you know what? After 49 years of bleeding blue and silver, I'm maybe one more season of this trash away from becoming just that.

It’s a slap, but it’s not a surprise with how we do the family business here
The Cowboys fanbase takes slaps in the face, gut punches, and we love bending over to take the rest it. Until we make a stand Jerry will continue to do what he wants. The Joneses make a billion dollars a year on the Cowboys name brand alone. That is what needs to stop for a change.

I'm not doing it for the Kwyn's of the world...I'm doing it because these four (4) individuals do not deserve my respect. Juvenile? No argument here. :muttley:

Sitting on the couch, week after week, watching the Cowboys get blown out, one thing gave me (and a lot of Cowboys fans) solace was the fact that we would be moving on from Mike McCarthy and this failed regime. Who, even in the best of times, figured out ways to screw it up.

Now, in another debacle, we are left to twiddle our thumbs while the bumbling moron tries to figure it out. Not sure what can be done, but I had to vent.

My problem isn’t keeping him.

It’s if he sucks next year so bad that he should obviously be fired that the Cowboys won’t do anything.

They’ll fire the whole staff or some BS.

It’s just a mess. This franchise sucks.

But, the Zone doesn’t have time for that.

We think McCarthy should have been fired and Andy Reid should have been hired on Monday.

Honestly, given the alternatives of coaches who would likely put up with Jerry, I'm okay with Mike. I just hope Jerry is more active in FA and gives Mike tools to help him.
