Each game those "fight" t shirts seem to become less of a tag line and more of an identity of this team
really seemd Dalals wanted to make a street fight of it. I really just saw one gang not just bully but punch them right in the face. To me it was more like that. I didnt see so much football as a gang running that field over.
This is my kind of thread. Talking about nastiness.
I agree with that. Dallas is not only probably the most physical team in the league... but they absolutely know it. When other teams start quitting in the second half against you, it isn't hard to figure out that you're a really physical team. Dallas fully understands that their physical nature is a big part of them winning 5 in a row with 3 straight road victories.
Garrett and his team know it is a weapon for them, and they're smart enough to bring it fully to bear against the Seahawks.
As Seattle has found out, being the most physical team on the field makes winning games a whole, WHOLE lot easier. Much to the Seahawk's chagrin... they found out what it's like looking down the barrel of that gun.
Your sig pic has alot to do with that new physical attitude.

Yup, that dude is very much like Charles Haley in that respect. The entire defense feeds off of this guy's toughness.
I've been saying for awhile now this team needs a little nastiness to them.
I thought the fight before halftime was a great sign too. Dallas was letting Seattle know that they were not intimidated and were not going to be intimidated. Been a while since we saw that kind of swagger around here.
Me too. It is what I wanted most. Honest to Pete, do you want to know one of my least favorite moments as a fan? We were playing the Lions and some flash in the pan WR scored a TD and then took the football and threw it at one of the stars and broke it. No one beat him silly after that. I was screaming for George Teague.
wasn taht mike furry or something liek that. i remember that.

Watch Parnell's first couple of plays in the game after Free went out. He just pancakes their big run stopper.
That's him. I hated that. Still gnaws at me.
This! Well said and on point. I used the term MAN. As in who is our man that everyone knows is looking for a good clean fight. I too have been wanting more physicality but lots used the term thug. Ro doesn't strike me.as a.thug even with his off field transgressions. He does strike me as.someone locking his chops.to.strike anyone in his path and with force.Indeed it does.
I have been wanting to get some physicality and intimidation factor on the defense for a very long time. I remember typing on this forum that I really wish we were running a 43 at the time, because I thought we could use a big helping of what Nick Fairley had in that year's draft.
I have been wanting defenders who play with an edge at least since then. I was happy to see we got DeMarcus Lawrence because that guy plays mean too.
We have had a bunch of guys like DeMarcus Ware (attitude wise) for a long time, and I have been wanting some like Rolando McClain to mix in there. McClain's confidence, physical style, and his intimidation factor is contagious to the entire defense... if not the entire team.
The defense has adopted his no prisoners style and I really think that when Rolando in playing, they feel almost invincible. Even if they give up a big play... they know they're gonna get you sooner or later.
For all their size and talent... there are a lot of NFL players that do not relish hard, physical contact. Those types really, really do not like McClain roaming the middle of the Dallas defense.
Getting hit flush by McClain has just got to hurt.
Did you like Nick Fairley when he was coming out in the draft Hos? It seems like I remember a conversation on here with you about Dallas needing some nastiness on out defense. Maybe it wasn't you, but whoever it was said they also thought we needed some enforcers on D.

Clutts actually came in and helped pancake that dude.
It translates into a smile on my face. I still love Teague. He wasn't great. I love him nevertheless.Eh, that kind of crap doesn't translate on the field. George Teague blasted Owens off of the star but the team didn't really have a nasty attitude at all. No, there is a certain presence you need on the field, a guy who simply does not give an F about anyone on the opposing sideline. A guy like Charles Haley or in the NBA, Ron Artest.
Rolando McClain is that guy. He is King Leonidas. No retreat, no surrender.
