That was very nice to see. I loved it.

I also loved how we got into their head in the first half too and had them getting chippy and trying to start something right at halftime too. That was the first point where I felt like yes we could definitely win in Seattle because it was obvious we'd gotten into their heads and had physically bullied the bullies in their house.

Our dominance spilled over onto their sideline and hahads the Seasquawks infighting.

I think he was suggesting that Teague didn't hit him as hard as he would have.

Like I said, we're different. I like nasty.

Oh well, you guys have completely missed my point. I like nasty too. However, I like authentic nasty, not manufactured. McClain doesn't have to go around shoving people after a play is over, he just radiates intimidation because it is authentic. He is badder than you. He knows it. You know it.

Dude if you want inspiration go listen to Tony Robbins. This is football. Its all about intimidation and fear. If the opponent did something disrespectful to the star the players have the right to fight back if they choose. We should not lie down like a dying dog to any team. If we have punch back we should. The Cowboys did and when push comes to shove they not only held their ground, but shoved back even harder. The only way to beat a bully is to punch them in the mouth. Thats how you handle fear and intimidation.

You have completely missed my point. While AsthmaField doesn't agree with me, at least he understands my point. You're clueless.

I haven't missed your point. I like any kind of nasty.

This team has a different attitude about it. Aikman made the point several times how when your OL dominates up front, that physical nature permeates the entire team. Remember in years past this pretty much has been a finesse team. That's a huge factor. I also think having an enforcer in the middle of the defense like McClain also is a factor. Those two things as corny as it sounds empowers the other guys to play with a nastiness and attitude.

Let me get this straight -- you just watched your team get destroyed on the field, player on opposing team celebrates yet another TD, and your player runs over and shoves him. This feels even remotely like some kind of payback to you? Do you actually think that act intimidated anyone on the 49ers sideline?

Yes, I did. Very much in fact, and I still wouldn't mind another enforcer. I love what McClain has brought. I think Carter could bring that. I think Crawford could. Church is doing better. Scandrick is doing great. I want a team that has some nasty. I loved Big E and LA because they were scary.

Strahan talking about Big E to take his asswooping like a man almost gives me the chills everytime I see the clip

You've got it straight. I do not care what it meant to the 49ers players. I do not care whether it intimidated them or not. I do not like doing nothing when someone disrespects.

I mean this in no way disrespectful to you, but if you think by changing the wording of this in any way you are going to make me "see the light" you are wasting your time. You've now expressed to me several times that we disagree on this, and that is fine with me. I am not, repeat NOT, going to change my mind.

Exactly.

I am going to say something that might piss off a lot of my fellow "old timers." I liked Conrad Dobler, and would have loved him on the Cowboys with that nasty attitude.

Of course defenses know what Dallas is doing now too... only these days, it doesn't matter. Either you can stop that OL and Murray, or you can't.

That's a great point Asthma. I remember threads the past couple of years stating that JG was too busy trying to recreate the 90's dynasty and that today's defenses were too good/smart to beat purely on the execution of the play, i.e. "I'll tell you what play I'm gonna run and you just try and stop me". It appears JG has done just that - on both accounts. You can't tell me that Romo, Murray, Dez, Witten, TWILL doesn't compare talent wise to Aikman, Emmitt, Irvin, Novacek, and Harper. And this OL is as good if not soon to be better than those 90's OL.

if the trends of these last few weeks continue and we we see this team continue to gel, and improve, we all will owe JG (and JJ) an apology.

I'm not asking you to change your mind. I'm asking you to see my point. And when you say "we're different, I like nasty," it indicates you have completely missed my point. For me, this was the most enjoyable game to watch since the first championship game against the 49ers in the early nineties and it has everything to do with how physical the Cowboys were on the field, how they were able to intimidate the Seahawks by their play on the field. They beat down what many considered the most physical team in the league...in their house. If the Seahawks hit, we hit harder. And you could see they recognized that by game's end. They looked defeated and broken. It was beautiful.

The best part to me was knowing the fact that this kind of mentality of punishing the other team until they get frustrated was supposed to be Seattle's shtick and instead they got annoyed and frustrated at how we just kept punching them in the face. We were supposed to be beat after they blocked the punt, demoralized early in the game but we punched right back. We had two turnovers as Seattle makes their comeback and we were supposed to be the same old Cowboys falling apart... you could see it in the way they acted on the sidelines and after making those plays that they knew that were starting to impose their will but here we are coming right back and punching them in the face again like nothing happened. Every time they got momentum we just walked back out on the field and shut them down with relative ease.

I said to my dad, who I was watching the game with, that Seattle looked demoralized at the end of that game before it was over. Last year when you watched Seattle you saw them smiling, cocky, and looking like they were unstoppable and they knew it... and this year the Cowboys strolled into their town and pushed them around just the way they were wanting to do, that was a great feeling being on the other end of that, we were the bullies and they were getting angry and lashing out in little temper tantrums because of it.

Just look at the expression on Sherman's face after some plays and you can see that look of helplessness and frustration that we've seen on our player's faces before. When that game was over, Seattle was a defeated team and it showed... and I'm not talking about the scoreboard.

Indeed it was beautiful. I wrote about it in my TOH thread.

I still do not like a player from another team pulling that kind of crap and hate that we did not bust Mike Furrey in the mouth for it.

The Furrey incident. Jacobs. The timeclock and Bradshaw. Might those days be over? Please say it is so.

Why should we understand your point? Im stating the fact when push comes to shove Dallas needs to shove back. There is no reason why we shouldn't. It doesn't matter what point your trying to prove. No one disrespects the Cowboys or the star without any consequence. No one. If it means we have to throw punches then so be it. Like I stated, if you want inspiration, go listen to Tony Robbins. Football is about intimidation and fear. That applies on the field whether the whistle has already been blown or not.

My favorite part wasn't the fight, but Romo giving Wilson a postgame "you're still a good QB" pat on the back . Tired of seeing it the other way around...

That was awesome. And Wilson is so much smaller, it looked like Romo was consoling a little brother. LOL.
