Ok guys.

I have gone back and watched this play 100 times now. And one instant truth has hit me. It is unfortunate but unless they put Pollard AND Zeke out there on passing downs Pollard may get whichever QB is starting killed.

He completely missed that blitz and that play right there could have turned the tide of the game had Rush fumbled. Anyone who questions why Zeke is in there pass blocking should literally watch that play. If they still have questions then it is nothing more than an agenda.

What are your thoughts on that play?

I think this is something Pollard will have to get better at, it is a big reason why Zeke gets majority of snaps. If Pollard was picking up blitzer and producing in the run game he would be seeing majority of snaps.

Yes… Pollard is not great at pass protection, and yes, he absolutely should have picked that blitz up.

Our edge protection vs the Rams was suspect, and while Philly doesn’t have a player who is as dominant as Donald is— they are stacked and have a ton of relentless team speed.

Pass Pro will need to be in top notch form is GingerSnaps is gonna make it out alive

I personally think the combo should be on the field together a lot more than they are now. It’s criminal that KM doesn’t design more pass plays out of backfield for TP
Yup. KM needs to do this more. Especially with Schultz out. No reason not to take one TE off the field for Pollard to be there.

My thoughts are you didn't really watch it 100 times

Yep Philly ranks tied for 3rd with Denver with 17 sacks on the season

Everyone but the Pollard fan club knows that Pollard is worthless when it comes to blocking for his QB. He's clueless out there!

Zeke should have been out there, Pollard is inexpeirienced at blitz pickup, that is why he looked inside, you are taught as a RB inside out, first place is the shortest distance to the QB so A gap then work your way out. But you need to be reading the front as well before the snap for clues.

Ramsey's a DB so he doesn't have a DL mentality but he should have 100% been going for the ball instead of the big hit which did make Rush fumble. Just like Heath in the Green Bay playoff game. Little head's up things that can make the difference between a win and a loss and I think it did in both cases.

What is this? Pollard's 3rd year? In the same system?

If he hasn't figured out pass protection by now, I fear he never will. Zeke was excellent in pass protection by year 3.
