Don't think it's the best trade Jerry has done compared to those back in the Jimmy era. But it is the most surprising trade while he has been trying to do it his way. Normally they would go through great lengths not to shatter the nerves and confidence of Dak...or even Romo when he was here. The timing of this trade with the potential Dak extension tells me they want to have options and not have a gun to their head by Dak's agent. I am not saying Lance is the equivalent of Dak right now, but who knows how he will progress by next year. Not like he needs to replace Tom Brady.

The guy never had a shot in the NFL because of injuries. He had 100+ passer rating in college. 97% in the NFL for three games. The 49ers never had a shot using him they never had the patience. This could be a huge trade for the Cowboys.
