we probably did over pay. thats the market this year and you have to over pay to get players. was it a mistake? well the only way we will know that is to watch him on the field this season.if he can be a solid player then thats what the market was for solid players. if he is a bust then we screwed up. but no one knows till we hit the field and play a few games

A comforting thing is that Arizona still has MORE COWBOY FANS THAN CARDS FANS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!:laugh1: And for that i also salute the great state of Arizona. Everybody needs a team and the Cowboys fulfill that desire in all 52 states!!!

I think the big pickle will be if Rivera is cleared to play and Columbo is resigned.

I'm pretty sure that Rivera is done. The guy hasn't shown anything impressive since playing here. Davis was brought in to replace Rivera. Colombo will most likely be resigned, or McQ or a draft pick will play RT.

I don't see Rivera coming back, because, well, he shouldn't be playing in the NFL anymore.

It's a fact that you guys overpaid. But if he fills a need hey, far be it for me to criticize. It's funny that a lot of you guys seem to be touting Big as a savior, yet laughing at us signing Johnson. I can tell you there is a lot of roasting in return of you guys for breaking the bank for LD.

Where are you guys figuring I'm bad mouthing you? You must have me confused for Phoenix Talon. I was merely pointing out that a lot of posters seemingly dismissed Johnson while trumpeting Big. I don't know much about Johnson, but just wanted to point that out. Calm down folks. I come in peace and respect. If those of you who don't know me would check out my prior posts, you'd see that.

Thanks zrinkill for the co-sign! Hell I wished you guys luck before you smoked us in our game last year, AND showed up to talk about it afterwards. My brother and best friend are Boys fans, which is why I'm here to begin with. I don't know why some of you guys are so incredulous.

Really? Some Cowboys fans bashed Johnson for some crazy reason, but he's a good player and was a good pickup for you guys.

No offense, but Davis and Johnson don't even belong in the same sentence. Davis is a good linemen at Guard. He just never lived up to his #2 overall pick and never will. The guy is simply too big to play LT and doesn't have the work ethic to study enough to play the tackle position. The problem with Johnson is he simply doesn't appear to have the strength to take on the huge DT's in the league. He get mauled by large nose tackles. He also doesn't have the agility to play tackle. He's basically an OK center vs. 4-3 teams and a horrible center agains 3-4 teams.
