Haven't you heard? Romo sucks! :D

I get a kick out of all the "stats mean nothing, Romo is a choker" crap people spew out here sometimes. They give the same tired BS of "unless he wins a playoff game he hasn't done anything" but then when you point out how long it took for Peyton Manning to win a playoff game they resort to the tired tactic of "you can't compare Romo & Manning!".

What a joke! Evidently they compare very well. :D

wow, a thread that makes sense.... cool
no it doesn't. you post a stat where Romo and his 2 and a half years is up there with guys who have played 10+ years. when Romo plays 10+ and if he still ranks up there with those guys than bust out that stat. until than it's a joke and all it's good for is a laugh cause you think it means something.

You're the only one laughing. It means everything. It is his body of work up to this point. What do you want us to judge him on?

You're looking at this the wrong way. Nobody is saying that Romo belongs in Canton today. Of course 2 1/2 years of excellent work doesn't get you there.

What we rational people are saying is that he's among the best playing today.

cool well now he has to step up and be a leader like all those other qbs atop those lists and win some big games in december, january and hopefully february.

Jason Campbell of the deadskins has played about the same amount of time. He's down at #23. Who do you think the deadskins would rather have as their QB?

are you asking me?

Its simply a question put out there for anyone who wants to answer it.

Romo and OJ must have the same lawyer... Sometimes stats don't mean a thing!

Terry Bradshaw won 4 SB's in 6 years with a 70 passer rating.

The joke's on you dude. How else do you compare players? The FACT is, and it is proven by his stats, that Romo is far ahead of most other great QBs at this point in their careers. He is way ahead of Manning, Favre, Montana, Young, Staubach, Aikman, etc. statistically at this point in their careers. By the time they had played 39 games they were nowhere near this good. Only Graham, Unitas, Marino, and Brady had comparable stats after 39 starts.

The big issue is playoff wins, that's all some people look at but playoff games are not won by individual players but by teams. The Cowboys have not won a playoff game in 12 years, what accounts for the previous 9 when Romo wasn't starting? The same goes for the BS that somehow HE is responsible for the December let-downs. We have sucked in December since Aikman's last season.

Nimrods!

No he didn't. The STEALERS won 4 Super Bowls in 6 years.

When the Cowboys players around Romo start playing like those Stealers teams did with Bradshaw then we will start winning championships. Romo is a MUCH better QB than Bradshaw ever was but the players around him are nowhere near what they were on those 70s Stealers teams.

What is it with you people anyway that you can't see that? :bang2:

Great QBs don't win SBs, great TEAMS do!
