The lynchpin for me has always been Tyron Smith

I just didnt think it would happen this early. This season just went in the toilet, like it did last year when he went down. And Jerry has no one to blame but himself.

Another year wasted. The Eagles have to be the favorite to win the east now.

We HAVE to move on from Tyron Smith. Another Olineman has to be the #1 priority in the offseason.

Can't agree with you on this one. We may be down an OT, but they have no QB.

Neither do we. When your Oline cant block, you have no run game because they cant block, the ability for your QB to function goes down the toilet.

We should have traded him a few years ago , while he still had value. It’s a shame.

Ive been mentioning it for years. I would move Martin permanently over to LT. Easier to find a guard than a LT. Martin will be an all pro over there.

One guy goes down you throw in the towel , that’s sad. If TS is that important he should be the highest paid player on the team. Injury is a constant that’s why they have back ups.

we’re accustomed to playin Period’s of time without Tyron. We are however one player short from last season. One more injury and we’re toast.

If he’s the lynchpin and you knew he was going to go down eventually..why would you ever have any hope for this season? That makes no damn sense

As much as I have complained that the Cowboys needed to draft Tyron Smith's replacement every year for the past 3 or 4 years, the fact is the best chance they had to get a left tackle was the year they took Parsons instead of Slater. If they took Slater, we would be complaining about the lack of a pass rush and how porous the defense is probably.

But one thing I am pretty certain of, to get a NFL ready OT to replace Tyron Smith they will need to draft in the top 10 or so. We'll see how this year goes but they may have to trade to get a pick that high. I hate it but it may mean giving up a couple of #1s. This is why giving away players for no draft picks or low draft picks is a loser deal.

You scared? lol Damn dude it's Football we have 50+ players involved. I get it you don't like the depth but let's let them at least actually lose a game before slitting our wrists.

I think there are still the makings of a competent run blocking line. Without knowing what they do, the LG-RT positions are still excellent run blockers, and I really do believe we'll have more 2 TE sets.

You're right - this will not be a 5-7 drop downfield attack with only 5-6 in protection. Deep shots are going to be hard, but I don't think that was the strategy anyway. I think this team is built to run the football this year and play a bit more WCO passing options.
