Couldn't agree with the OP more. I know lots of delusional fans on here like to conform as blind homers and call out those who have something negative to say but unfortunately, after about 14 years of failed seasons, it's pretty clear that the direction of the franchise has gone south since Jimmy Johnson's departure. Parcells brought it back up and now it's once again back down. The only common denominator here is the GM/Owner. There's a good reason why the Raiders, Skins and Cowboys haven't won a thing in many many years. The owners meddle too much and have no idea what they're doing in the end.
Does that mean those who understand that Jerry Jones is a horrible GM have to distance themselves from the team? NO way. Blind homers and realists are allowed to route for the team equally. It's just that it's more popular to say positive things on this site and strut around like little cheerleaders talking about how "great" the team is.
No doubt, this team is a joke. Does that make me less of a fan? Nah. It just sucks that I care so much about something I have absolutely no control over. Even worse, the person who does control it is a miserable failure.
