Jerry simply doesn’t care at all. The media could hit him with tough questions until they’re blue in the face, he’ll just double down on how no one can do the job better than he can. The vicious cycle of crap will continue no matter what.

CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Nobody at the Ticket got fired when Jerry took his ball and ran home. They are doing just fine, and have always dominated the Fan in ratings whether they could interview Jerry or not. Jerry's importance to radio interviews is highly over rated. Nobody really wants to hear from that jerk.
Yes, but have the hosts asked him the same question(s) again that pissed Jerry Jones off in the first place? It was their job to ask him about his competency as the general manager, which they did. Their questioning sparked his childish tantrum.

The team's situation has only regressed since then. They have every right to ask him again and to keep asking him. That stance would demonstrate how their steadfast diligence in asking Jones for answers some (or perhaps even most) of their listeners wish to hear but will they? Not asking will only show their desire towards appeasing him, even though his defiance does not deserve their respect.

this is because he doesnt understand how to be a real GM!
He isnt even a GM, he just runs the show and takes the title of GM.

He had a chance last year to hire BB and maybe they win a SB in the next 3 years, but instead he wanted to let alot
of players go , put everyone on a 1 year deal, and stick with mike .

If hiring bill led to a SB win, jerry could have taken the credit for being smart enough to hire bill when no other team would.
The Cowboys have their own system. A system unlike any other in the NFL. I don't pay attention to what all teams do, but the competitive teams don't use the Jones SOP. Hiring a GM would go against what they believe, and drift from their system. That's why they didn't hire Bill.

The Cowboys team building philosophy is similar to what it was in the 70s and 80s.

He scared The Fans guys so much that they've done nothing but ask softball questions since he went off on them.

Jerry ain't worried about the media.

Jerry doesn’t care about public opinion so long as people, pundits and the media keep discussing the Cowboys and maintaining their relevance…as well as fans continuing to buy tickets and merchandise.
Once the Cowboys start playing in front of half-packed stadiums and merchandising sales drop…and the revenues start declining, then maybe Jerry might consider change. It is money, not championships, that motivate Jerry.

the balls to ask Jerry the hard questions.
What "hard" questions have they asked? They have asked about Dak's contract, MM's job security, free agency, Parsons's future, and his performance as GM. What other questions would you ask?

The Cowboys were just named the most valued sport franchised .........again. That doesn't happen w/o a ton of support and admiration. In fact. ironically, the more certain fan base hates him, the value of the team seems to still increase.

If Fish has ballz enough to takes this kind of stance, I'm guessing he knows that there is more biting commentary to follow by other media members (not named Mickey, Babe, or Brad).

no they are not. Jones is getting exactly what he wants, setting things up for next year.
lots of attention. fan interest (negative interest doesn't matter as long as its interest)
excuses set up, meaning injuries were the cause.
plan is to sell hope this off season. new coach. players back from injuries. focus on draft and over sell. and then sign one big name FA.

and tell everyone, how we are back, and we were good to compete and injuries set us back and now we will do it this year, blah blah blah.

and keep attention on cowboys. the media will argue did they do enough, some will say, yeah they did, remember they were good before injuries....and it keeps interest on the cowboys.
this is set up perfectly for the joneses

About fish, 2 things pissed him off:
1.not cutting the player who muffed the blocked punt, then coddling same player saying it wasnt his fault.
2.Stephen saying they would not have cap room for FA in 2025

Fish said no matter what happens or goes wrong, it is never anyone's fault !
And stephen is just lying about the cap for 2025.
Plus what they did this year now makes no sense at all lol.
Good thing that they didn't cut 27 being that he is now a starter. Of course, Fish is ignorant in this matter.

Mara at least hires real GM's. They've sucked but he tries. Our braindead owner thinks he's the best.
Yup.

There's a clip of Mara talking to Schoen, expressing how awful it would be to see Saquon leave. He mentioned that Saquon was by far their most popular player. But Mara let Schoen do his job.

Granted, that was maybe a mistake by Schoen, but the fact of the matter is that Mara didn't neuter the football guy in the room.

It’s also called giving the fanbase the finger.

If Jerry would have been the Captain of the Titanic not a single lifeboat would have been launched as he would have felt good about the leak.
Thats words of wisdom right there ,and I feel are very true.Jerry is quite contrary,I must admit I have soured on ol Jerry after all these years.

I can't even imagine doing nothing after a season like this. They should literally fear for their own safety at that point.
The only thing they’re going to do is make #11 the highest paid defensive player.
