Overrated weak armed QB who will be a bust in the NFL. I will take Vince Young over him easy. Better yet lets use our draft for OL and if a steal at FS falls to us go for that.

I agree! I was thinking the same thing. He is not what he is cracked up to be. Texas is making him look very average.

People think Bledsoe is bad at waiting for a WR to clearly be open. Lienart is even worse. This guy is gonna hella suck in the NFL.

I'd take his weak arm any day of the week.... Granted I do think Quinn will be better but he's not coming out this year....

I personally think they are both overrated.
Especially Young.
He can run but he throws like a girl. No zip at all. And he runs way too tall for that garbage to fly in the NFL. He'll get killed. He has to get moving forward to build to a dangerous speed. In the NFL, he won't have time to get going forward.

Leinart is good but I wouldn't use a #1 pick on him either.

Now Reggie Bush... A.J Hawk... D'Brickashaw Ferguson...
THOSE guys are future Pro Bowlers.

Would he be good in the pros?

Leads the nation in passing efficiency.

But there is just something about him that makes me unsure. Perhaps it's his throwing motion. They tried to work on it when he first got to Texas, but felt that they were ruining him so they let it be. Good decision, IMO.

VERY Dynamic player and DEFINATELY a play-maker.

Still, what do you think?

Not trying to rag on whoever it was that said that, but Vince Young is a QB Stud.

Maybe he will bust, like many a NFL QBs have. However, he is better than Michael Vick, and Vick has been QBing for several years now.

Young is a great, great NFL QB prospect.

...no way Vince Young stays in school after that performance.
The most impressive performance by an offensive player that I have ever seen, in a game where the stakes were so high.

If I'm Houston, I dump Carr and take Vince Young #1, no question!

I am leaning towards him being the #1 player in the draft like the mediots are saying. He can beat you with his legs AND his arm.

30-40 in passing...led the league in passing efficiency....tears EVERYBODY up with his legs.

Much better than Vick. Vick's problem is his arm.

Lee Corso is right - leave now Vince and you take this kid first over Bush and the overrated Matt Leinhart.

He was pretty impressive. I would take him over leinart anyday. There is no way the Texans take a QB though, although i don't think they need bush either. Domanick Davis is plenty good enough. If I were them i would trade down to the highest bidder.

Young....#1. I agree. Prior to tonight, I and the media agreed that it should be Bush. Now, I and the mediots agree again. That's scary.

I am praying he is there at 18.

If he is then replacing Bledsoe next year becomes very viable all of a sudden.
Sadly after this Michael Jordanesque performance I see no way he falls to 18.

He was the best player in college football all year and he proved it tonight.

I'd like to see how good Bush is without that behemoth line in front of him....even BP said that he should be gaining alot of yards with that line that he has. He said that a couple of weeks ago. I agree.

He won't last past #3 or #4 at best.

I think this years draft could be one of those 10 years down the road that has a lot of high draft pick misses.
