Do you know where Tony Romo was all weekend?
Cancún.

With Jessica Simpson.

Yeah, you read me right. Cancún.

With Jessica Simpson.
I had a feeling they were in Cancun. Not a well known thing, but in that part of Mexico they make fruit tacos and they are delicious. Mangos, bananas, papayas, you name it. You can't believe how good they are. You think I'm lying but you go to Cancun and try it. I lie to you not.

Hope they had a great time. Bet they're coming home today.

Should've known the Skins fans and the DC media were gonna bring out the "Dallas is lucky that Seattle knocked the Commanders out" card.

this is the same guy that wondered several weeks ago if we were in the same class as New Orleans.

I'm confused here - the Saints didn't even make the playoffs.

That pretty low, using the kicker as a scape goat, when all along Collins kept looking up to the box, to see Tom Cruise.

Wilbon sucks. He is really terrible at being objective or hiding his biases.

Wilbon has his goat, his fall guy,his patsy...Suisham!! It's all his fault, and had he made that missed field goal, surely his beloved Commanders would be making reservations (snicker) for the finest eateries in Dallas for next weekend.

Beloved Commanders?? Wilbon is from Chicago and is an overt BEARS fan.

The sigh of relief you could hear. It's coming from Dallas, where the Cowboys, their coaches, a QB and his celebrity girlfriend all exhaled, knowing they don't have to fight off a blood rival with underdog status and absolutely zero pressure in a playoff game.
This hater is so clueless it's sad not comical.

I would have gladly played the Redskirts again next week.

Excuses, excuses, excuses...that's typical nonsense from Commander losers.

And why is this fool so concerned about Romo? I know why...jealousy, pure and simple.

Goodnight, little Commanders...enjoy the couch, starting TODAY!!!

While I certainly wasn't pulling for them yesterday, I wanted them to win because I wanted to see us whip their arses next Sunday -- which would have happened despite what all the foolish and nonsensical Foreskins fans think.

What's great is Romo was in Cancun laughing his arse off at the Skins losing.

In all fairness, Suisham has been a good kicker for them and everyone shanks one every now and then and it's not by choice, sometimes their foot sets wrong because of a gouge mark in the turf or whatever. His field goal woundn't have made that much difference as their drive had already been stopped anyway.

The staggering 'skins mounted a counter attack in the fourth quarter but it came up short and they lost soundly to a better team. It's what the playoffs are all about. There's always next year.

Yes, but he simply reports on the Skins. The original poster said "beloved" Commanders and this is just not accurate. If you want to disagree with the column that is fine but I have a problem with that premise.

This is true. MW is a big Bears fan.

He's stated before that he is BOTH a Skins and Bears fan.

Which makes him one of the worst type of fans, the guy that somehow has two favorite teams.

He's stated on PTI before that he's a Skins fan. Beloved may not be the exact way to describe him, but he's a fan nonetheless.

The Skins' next 3 possessions after they took a 14-13 lead:
3-and-out (missed FG)
3-and-out (punt)
pick six

That's a team that couldn't handle prosperity.

Oh come on. He naturally would like to see the Skins do well since he reports for them but don't question the guy's loyalty to the Bears. Do you really think he was torn when Chicago came to DC a few weeks ago? He wanted the Bears 100% to win like he should have.

You can't possibly deny that he in fact roots for the Skins. I don't care if he's a Bears fan or not.

You would NEVER see a piece like this out of a DFW "journalist."

Washington media decries that they would have beaten Dallas if only they had made a 30 yard FG. Dallas media would skewer everyone on the team who had made mistakes in the game. Look at Romo last year. Did anyone see an ARTICLE in a DFW paper that said if Romo had not bobbled that snap that the Boys would have surely been in the Super Bowl? Of course not. That's the point of view of an APOLOGIST, or a homer, and there aren't too many homer journalists in Dallas. They're more of the hater variety.

Yeah, you read me right. Cancún.

I understood you the first time you said it.

Apparently, "arrogant" Tony should have been sitting in front of a tv, biting his fingernails, and worrying about this unstoppable freight train known as the Commanders. Now he's off the hook. Thanks, Seattle.
