You can't possibly deny that he in fact roots for the Skins. I don't care if he's a Bears fan or not.

You would NEVER see a piece like this out of a DFW "journalist."

Washington media decries that they would have beaten Dallas if only they had made a 30 yard FG. Dallas media would skewer everyone on the team who had made mistakes in the game. Look at Romo last year. Did anyone see an ARTICLE in a DFW paper that said if Romo had not bobbled that snap that the Boys would have surely been in the Super Bowl. Of course not. That's the point of view of an APOLOGIST.

Ya, a good journalist would rip apart a team that rallied for four wins three days after burying their teammate to make the playoffs but lose in the first round. Not to mention losing countless starters to season ending injuries.

Oh come on. He naturally would like to see the Skins do well since he reports for them but don't question the guy's loyalty to the Bears. Do you really think he was torn when Chicago came to DC a few weeks ago? He wanted the Bears 100% to win like he should have.

He could be like that weird CowboysSaints fan you guys have on your board. :) He's a BearsSkins fan. ;) Bears firsts, Skins second. :lmao:

Here come the excuses...blah, blah, blah!

Poor Commanders! Can't even find a dance partner at the big dance...they just have to stand in the corner and watch the big boys dance...how embarrassing is that?!!

He threw the kicker under the bus (undeservedly) and dragged our QB into it (in Bayless fashion). We no like.

I know a Dallas journalist would.

And I know a Dallas journalist wouldn't be claiming that we would have won the whole thing had we won in the first round. There's a big difference between ripping a team apart after a loss and crying about what would have been had they won.

I am not making excuses, I am providing reasons why the local media is not clobbering this team right now. Pay attention please. Oh, and stay classy.

Again, thanks for all the understanding for all we went through this year. I will write the Washington Post and tell them I demand more critical analysis, human emotion be damned.

Same thing about Dallas Fans in general. I mean they're brutal to the Cowboys after a loss. You just have to turn on Sports Radio to hear. Dallas fans in Dallas always blame the team. I find it weird how other fans can find weird excuses. :D

Oh, is that what you are doing, huh? :laugh1:

Perhaps your team should have "paid attention", right? To the Seattle game, right?

And this "classy" crap is exactely what YOUR TEAM needs, not me! I'm not the one bawling about the loss and "providing reasons" why your "hottest team in the NFL" just got it's butt handed to them, right?

It's a never win situation with you Commander clowns, never! If you win a game, we get to hear all about how "great" your team is...if you lose a game we get to hear all these "reasons" why you lost...and it gets sickening.

But, "provide all the reasons" you want to, but, remember, it's over!

You will be surprised how brutal our fans can be too.

Hey, you don't know how I felt after the death of Taylor. Quit pretending you did.

But your team set yourself up for this kind of scrutiny by exploiting his death.

And if you want rah rah articles from your sportswriters, then fine. But don't be surprised when those types of pieces get criticized by others.

Guess who isn't paying attention AGAIN. Read what I said again buddy.

"providing reasons why THE MEDIA IS NOT CLOBBERING THIS TEAM RIGHT NOW"

Where do you see me providing reasons or making excuses why we lost in this?? Again, please read what I write before responding. Thank you.

Uh, I'm not your "buddy", first of all, OK?

Second, yeah, you are making excuses. Please read what you write before hitting the "post" button, OK?

Thank you...

You know, I joined this site because I was truly touched by the compassion and understanding here after Sean's death. Where did all of this go? I am not making excuses at all. We lost to a better team. Let me say that again. WE LOST TO A BETTER TEAM. They dominated our offensive line and we really had no business being in the game in the 4th quarter.

I am just trying to provide you with another point of view as to why the media and the fans are not trying to kill this team right now. I don't know. Maybe you need to go through all this to understand.

Good luck to you next week.

What's your opinion on what Wilbon put in print again? Your team played the Seahawks yesterday. That's Seattle, not Dallas. Why should Wilbon mentioned anything about the Cowboys?

The man obviously has a thing about not liking the Cowboys since Washington lost to Seattle yesterday. His article is full of Dallas references. It's nonsense.

I'm confused, why would a DC sports writer include multiple comments on the Dallas QB's social life in a piece writen the morning after a Washington play off loss?

Is he trying to get a new gig at People?
