The front office is inept just look at this team the past 4 years.

I think Ellis especially young Ellis was not much better than where Crawford is right now. I'd put him above Mincey but Melton is also a superior player.

I really like Crawford, but Ellis was a first round pick for a reason. Even later in his career they had him playing 3-4 OLB. I dont know if Crawford could pull that off.

I think Crawford is a better 3-4 end than 4-3 end. He has problems using his hands to get off of blocks and prefers to use power.

I think he's similar to Mincey... just with more upside. Crawford probably shouldn't be out there at DE on passing downs.

I'm sorry but I refuse to get riled up over a few snaps in the 1st preseason game of the season. I REFUSE TO. I'm not willing to put Weeden in the Pro Bowl after his performance just as much as i'm not willing to cut Mincey over his.

I think Crawford is going to start for them anyway. It just depends where at. IF he doesn't start he'll definitely get a lot of reps. Cowboys think highly of Crawford.

Right. If anyone wants to debate his career i'll fight in his favor until the end. But I have to giggle at the people bringing up his name as if his production wasn't replaceable last year. We've been saying "Wait until Demarcus gets healty..." for the past 2 or 3 seasons.

He may get healthy in Denver but for us? He was a shell of himself.

And if you are going to do that, you might want to start with someone else other than a player like Mincey.

I am in agreement with others, he needs to go to the strongside and rotate with Crawford. Selvie is the closest thing we have to a rusher and he needs to be out at RDE.

Mincey simply cannot compete with quality NFL LTs.

Well, I honestly don't care how he gets to the passer, as long as he gets there. If he pancakes the OT, as he did with Parnell, and gets there - who cares? And he will learn more moves, he will get better. And he's far and away better than Mincey right now. Bigger, stronger, faster, quicker, works harder, more of a leader. He is Canadian though.

I could see Crawford turning into a Jim Jeffcoat type player. At the very least, Tony Tolbert. I think he's a perfect fit for SDE and a much better fit than Mincey at the WDE.

2 yr 3 million deal with 500k signing bonus. 2014 1m base salary guaranteed. 2015 $200k of 1.5m salary guaranteed. Low end starter money no matter how you look at it.
