The MNF game featured some awful QB play.

Was anybody else underwhelmed by the play of both QB's? Both QB's were atrocious. Campbell looks like one of the worst starting QB's in the league. He has a gun for an arm, but the scope is bent. He was missing wide open receivers. McNabb is either still injured or has lost a lot of his athletic ability. He couldn't escape the pressure and wasn't putting much behind his throws.

I think that's not entirely accurate on Campbell...I thought he missed some deep balls but he showed a lot of pocket presence and poise on his short and medium passing game...He's better than I thought, actually

I saw several short and intermediate range misfires by Campbell. He does have good pocket presence and good arm strength; he just can't hit the broadside of a large barn.

I couldn't believe when Campbell missed Moss wide open there in the 4th quarter on that sluggo. I don't think I realized anybody could throw hard enough to overthrow Moss with that speed.

I think Campbell will be ok. However, he could end up like QC in a way. It seems like when a QB realizes they're not super accurate, they start avoiding throwing the ball into tight spots and play it safe. They end up barely making any plays at all and become extremely mediocre.

However, he's still very raw and will improve. I don't think it will be an issue for him, but the moment he starts not bothering to throw certain passes because he's worried about his accuracy is the moment he maxes out at average.

That's why Romo is so great. He's accurate and KNOWS he's accurate. He'll make that play that tons of QBs won't even try.

He's a drive killer. He can't convert 3rd and less-than-6 to save his life. He's got a big arm, hits the outs really well, and can throw the long ball (big deal), but he's a liability at QB right now.

With the way McNabb was playing out there missing everyone in site, we would've put a half a hundred on that team playing that way.

Blitzes should never fool this team again, especially since we go up against blitzes all the time in practice, so neither of these teams scare me.

Now Campbell, i'm a tad concerned about this kid. He showed a pulse. I've not seen that in a redstink QB in a long while, and I pray that it's because Philty truly sucks this year.

Anybody who discounts Campbell as a legit starting QB in the NFL isn't being objective. He made his ninth start last night, and while he missed some,, he made some nice throws too. How good he really is remains to be seen.

McNubb, on the other hand, looked like a lot more of the same. He's never been accurate, and now that he's lost his wheels, he looks way less than average. If he hits just one or two more wide open receivers last night, the Feagles win.

Campbell looked better than I expected. He's inconsistent, but if grows out of it, he'll be tough.

McNabb hasn't bounced back from his injury yet.

I doubt the knee injury has much to do with his inability to hit wide open receivers...

Carson Palmer's knee injury was way worse than McFlabb's, and he came back sooner...yet he rarely missed an open guy

McFlabb is just not accurate

He never has been. He's got a great arm and some real nice wheels. His accuracy has always been his weakness. Now with the knee injury, his wheels aren't as good as they used to be either.

and he'll come out and burn us for 300+ yards if our defense doesn't improve quite a bit.

Can somebody explain to me why Reid is starting McNabb since McNabb himself has stated he's only about 75% back? He should be going with McNabb's backup & I don't care if McNabb doesn't like that or not. Right now McNabb hurts that team. Having said that, wish we played the Eagles on Sunday instead of the Bears.

I agree with all accounts. Some these dime store or shadetree QB experts need to get a grip.

I definitely agree with you regarding Campbell. I also agree McNabb struggled some last night but he finally warmed up in the 4th quarter and looked a lot better. Either QB would improve by having what Tony Romo has around him. Although he's still just showing the tip of the iceberg of what he can do.

I think they had to go w/McNabb. Didn't Feeley just have another surgery on his hand? Plate put in or something after rushing back too fast from earlier surgery? Non-throwing hand, but doubt he was ready to play last night.

Imagine what a nuclear meltdown it would be if they'd actually start Kolb after the whining about drafting him. As long as McNabb's upright, he's starting.
