The moment that changed the game

I think Fowlers penalty was bigger then this. 4th and 4. We literally handed them 4 points. 16 seconds winding down and the Eagles offense ran back on the field because their coach waved them all back just because he figured why not do a hard count and let the quarter end...then we jumped. Biggest play of game.
Both were big plays
But Fowler made a rookie mistake
They weren’t running a play and it was obvious
He didn’t pay attention to the situation

It’s embarrassing that two line judges are blind and can’t get the proper spot, but it’s even more embarrassing how little awareness McCarthy and the coaching staff showed here.

McCarthy literally never challenges anything. Instead, he’d rather rush to the line and give the Eagles the ball back in scoring position.

If not for this play, I think the Cowboys win the game.

Yep. We were down 14-0 and playing like crap. Had 'em right where we wanted 'em.

Dallas lost by multiple possessions. At the two minute warning Dallas needed a field goal, an onside kick recovery, and then a no-timeouts TD drive to have a chance. They got none of those things, and getting that one yard doesn’t solve all of them.

That missed call was big, but it wasn’t close to the biggest ref blunder of the game. You still had 4th and 1 which you went for. Had you executed that play better, this 1 yard wouldn’t even have mattered. It didn’t kill your drive, 4th down did. But still, it could have saved it, and it was a big missed call.

But 2nd and 9 Ceedee goes for 16 yards because Tony Pollard blocked James Bradberry in the back. Block in the back is a 10 yard penalty:

That’s a 26 yard swing! The refs gifted you over a quarter of the field. That put you well into the redzone and you basically walked in for the touchdown. Call the foul and you’re out of field goal range and staring at 2nd and 19. Based on how Cooper was playing last night, you’re probably not picking that up. That was 7 free points because of that “drive”. The 1 yard play that didn’t even kill your drive wasn’t close to this. End score should have been 26-10

Inexcusable not to challenge. Dallas might have won if they get a TD on that drive. Would have changed the whole dynamics.
lol If my sister had a you know what she would be my brother. jk The Boys weren't making any TD's in the first half. Rush was too busy throwing into triple coverage.

People ask the difference between MM and S. Peyton? In Game management is the biggest between them.
Ask a Saints fan about SP's game management. I happen to know one very well and he can bring up a myriad of instances where the Dallas Cowboys Chosen One's game management was not good. I make no excuses for MM, after all, it was a mistake on his part not to review that play, but you will be hard pressed to find an NFL coach who does not struggle with game management at times.

There was also the pick play that wasn't called on the first 4th down conversion for the Eagles that started the momentum shift.

That was the first thing came to mind from the OP Headline...I Agree, That was the moment. Fowlers penalty change the directory of the whole game..

Yes they all do BUT MM more than others, also it is about the timing of those and when they occur.

Where was the ball when his elbow first contacted the turf. That determines the spot. The picture shows his elbow down and the ball across the line but his elbow could

Oh please. Just stop. The refs missed the 1st down call on the Lamb catch and gave the Cowboys a makeup call on the block in the back. We can play this game all day with calls and missed called. The Eagles had 2 penalties called on them. The Cowboys 10. Go back and watch the game again and count how many times Driscoll held Micah Parsons and didn't get called for it. In fact, go back and watch how many times the Eagles held period and didn't get called for it.

McCarthy not challenging the spot. I think that was the beginning of the end. And that lady ref was right there looking down the line as Cee Dee was stretching. How she missed this easy of a call is laughable. First time I ever saw her and wonder why they gave her a big Sunday Night game like this. But Mike had a challenge that he never used:facepalm: I tell you guys a million times. We have to fight ourselves-refs and our coaching staff

They're always getting stupid penalties every game, unfortunately they were up against a good team who made points out of those penalties.

If the chain had a couple cheeseburgers tied to it he would have used up all his challenges for the year.

It was one thing if Mike was running the defense or running the offense but as far as I can tell hes in charge of folding his arms and acting like a statue
I'm done, been done, he's a fraud

All the mistakes in the game, which doesn't win football games, but the Eagles didn't impress me...

A lot of what happens on this team comes down to coaching. Better coaching, better discipline and thought processes.

The story of the game was QB production and turnovers. You can change all the other stuff into the Cowboys favor, but they still lose at a -3 turnover differential.

I like our team in the end. We have everything needed. Eagles are relying on smoke and mirrors. Some team...and it might even be us in December, will show the rest of the league how to stop their offense. Take away that read option and the Eagles offense is not good.

I'd love if the Cowboys could find a run dominating NT before the deadline.
Heck if nothing else go after Suh

The cowboys were never going to win this game. Stop lying to yourselves.
