It has him listed at 180 lbs., I wonder how much pounding at the NFL level he will be able to take though.

You do realize that was his HS video? He was ~180lbs in HS. He's ~5'11'' 200lbs now.

you are right........cause Michigan will never play a Div I-AA school again, much less App St.....and Jackson is going to the NFL.

So this can't happen again.

It may come a time that Michigan plays a Division II team again, but RR has a different type of offense than Lloyd had.

:starspin Ok, didn't realize that's his current weight...since we need a RB with an extra step or two, he might be the type of back we can use.

I think the best part about Chris Johnson would be that we can get him and we don't have to burn a 1st round pick on the kid. No way he's picked in the 1st round.

I doubt that Johnson will be around with our 2nd rd pick so we will have 2 options. A) Take him with our last pick or B) Trade up in the 2nd to grab him. He is shooting up boards and i expect him to go up even more after the combine.

C) Trade our 2nd #1 for a high #2 and #4 and get him there. However, I'd only do this if I had another RB I was also high on that was also available in case someone grabbed CJ. My fear is, that after he runs a ~4.33 40 during the combine, he's going to be hyped up by Mayock (NFL Net), and make it into the bottom portion of rd #1. So, if we want him, we won't be able to chance him being available in the 2nd at all.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Jonathan Stewart have a better rookie year than any back in the draft, including DMac.

quote:
NEEDS TO IMPROVE
Chris has to learn to hold onto the ball, reducing his fumbles. He also has to learn how to block and how to play when he is hurting. Right now, Chris has shown no interest in blocking at all and that alone could keep him off the field and limit his ability to impact for the team that drafts him.

........"shown no interest in blocking at all"..............hmmmmm...

Just send the house ala Jim Johnson of Philly and now the Gints..........show it early so C.Johnson is forced to stay in and "block"

Give me the J.Stewart kid

10 minute highlight reels with multiple screens of text just suck. Watched it until it said:

"He can run"

Saw him hurdle a guy and knew what was next so I just closed it.

As an ECU alum and season ticket holder, you won't find a bigger CJ fan on this board than me, but I don't see using a first rounder on him.

I do see him as a GREAT fit in Dallas though. A great change of pace for MB3 and just as important, a VERY dangerous punt returner.

By no means am I saying he is as good as Devin Hester, but I see similar vision and patience when returning kicks. I promise you, that speed is real!!!
