It is still not being a fan to think that way.

I went into the 1988 season, rooting for wins as always. However when it was apparent they team was done, then you wanted losses to get the 1st overall pick to get Troy Aikman. Because he was a sure fire can't miss QB.
But you NEVER as a real fan go into the season saying this from the start after finishing back to back 12-5 say go 0-17 just because you personally do not like the QB. Especially one that has not had a losing season.

As he then blamed him for lack of playoff success but give team credit for the wins. This team has not had playoff success for 28 years, the goes far beyond one QB.

I suspect the FO's refusal to participate in veteran free agency throughout the years is largely responsible for the increased negativity.

Nevertheless, it doesn't seem like it bothers this FO of ours to any great degree. Maybe it'll take hold more convincingly at some point.

That and the never ending comments from the führer that verify what his true desires are in regards to the franchise.

- More concerned with being 'relevant' and 'interesting'

- Won't go all in - ever

- Won't replace the incompetent GM
