Nothing wrong with Mustangs at all.

Loved McQueen's in Bullitt.

That was the 2nd gen chargers coming out party.

Little known factoid: During the filming of that famous car chase, they had to stop shooting several times to make repairs on the suspension of the Mustang (jumping over the hills in S.F.). They didn't have any problems with the Charger.

:D

I've already got a '68 charger that I'm gonna paint black. Now I just need a Green '68 Fastback Mustang.

In the movie, the body roll of that Charger was extreme. Those hubcaps didn't have a chance!

Chargers have plenty of nads but with all the beefing up they had to do it probably weighed twice as much as a factory charger.

Awesome! Thanks. :D

Who's the baddest? Obviously the charger, but I wouldn't complain is someone gave me a 1968 Fastback mustang.

My car has no nothing right now. It's completely bare arsed at the moment (see sig).

Hey, it's actually more then 4 inches off the ground though. :laugh2:

ANd about the low profile tires, that's a bit TOO Low.

High performance my arse! I'd like to see your rims after taking a few hard corners with those tiny tires.

I agree the "Giant" tires are a bit much, but so are those tiny little tires. Might as well take the tires completely off and put the dang car on a train track.

To me it's about balance.

I love to see nice rims but I also like to see a nice tire to go with it.

Those tires are barely there...it's like all rim.

Not saying it's awful or anything, just that I'd like to see a little more tire for my money.

Agreed.

That pic is too much rim.

This pic has way too much rim.

The low profile tires you see in both the KITT car and the ZO6 picture typify high performance. You get much better handling with lower profile tires. That is just the way it is. Sure you don't have to go that low but these types of tires are put on most of the major high performance cars out there be it the Z06, 911, Enzo, etc.

I find a good compromise on sidewall height in my cars below. I have found that the sidewall "lip" that protects the outer rim does indeed work.

I hope the rumors aren't true that there is no Turbo Boost. I always loved seeing KITT jump over anything and make that woooooom noise. lol
